After a minutes at full charge the laptop turns off because the battery drained at 50% mark.

Does what it says.
For my 2012 vintage Macbook Pro there are few options regarding replacement battery. This is model specific and works like a charm. I get about 3 hours continues use with video conferencing and Microsoft Teams. Having had the battery in the system since the past 6 months, i don't see any degradation in performance and the one time i had the system opening did not notice a ballooning or abnormal heating. Its a thumbs up from my side.

Lasted less than 6months
Like the tittle says, I swapped my old battery for this new one and it was like my MacBook Pro was out of the box back in 2012, however not even 6 months later it literally stoped charging and I had to swap it for the original battery again, now it’s a deadweight. Wanted to try buying another one because I could’ve been unlucky but I’m not sure I want to spend more money just to find out it won’t work again.

Good buy
Pros: well packaged. Delivery timing accurate. Battery functionality up to what is expected. The battery comes with extra tools to help you in case you do not have precision screw drivers to swap the old battery. Cons: nothing to be mentioned
