This is a standard mat for a bath tub, particularly useful for people who use an over-bath shower. The extra long length of 100cm almost totally fills the bottom of the bath, and with its semi-circular cut out at one end it is easy to place this close to the plug hole for water to drain away.This is quite a thick mat, the reverse is laden with suction cups, and there are holes in between each to allow water to drain beneath the mat so you don't stand in it and slip. The top of the mat is comfortable to stand on and I felt quite safe when in the shower, my feet didn't slip at all.To use - run the shower for a few seconds to moisten the bottom of the bath then lay the mat down, pressing firmly across its length to push the suction cups down into place. On a new mat, this can take a while because it needs time to loosen up and flatten out. When showering is finished, lift up the mat, give it a little shake to remove some of the excess moisture, and hang it over the bath to dry until next time.These mats can be washed at low temperatures in a washing machine. I tried that a few years ago and found the mat I washed just would not stick down in the bath afterwards. Since then, I have just bought a new mat every year to have a clean, fresh, hygienic mat to stand on. They are not expensive and at least I know the suction cups will work on a new mat.If you find the ends of your mat are hard to unroll and lie flat, the seller suggests leaving it to soak in the bath for 10 minutes, the hot water should help to flatten it. I left mine over the side of the bath overnight and whilst the ends were still a little curly when I pressed them into place in the bath, once I had finished showering, the hot water had, indeed, helped to flatten them down.There are a variety of colours available for this product, some have different prices to others. I selected a simple white this time and it really is a bright, clean white. The price is pretty much in keeping with other products of this nature and I found it ideal when I used it.

It fits and acts like a tub mat. It does all the things a tub mat is supposed to do. I have no idea if it will be durable or good quality or easy to clean - because we just got it. Does the job and looks great at what seemed to be an unbeatable price. Rinse it under the shower (both sides) and brush off any algae as you go on a regular basis and it will stay looking good. Don't use bleach products as they'll likely harden it and spoil the texture and suction.

Soft to sit on fits our bath perfectly and is non slip

Had this bath/shower mat for a while now, was easy to put in place and the suction seems to be quite good. good lenth in bath so enough to step in and walk to the shower without slipping. easy to clean aswell.
