Challenging to use
Not as good as other sharpeners. The reason is because of the mechanism. The fact that it's not stable against a surface (like regular knife sharpeners) means you are more likely not to run the knife smoothly through it. If you get the angles right, it does what it's supposed to.

J'ai toujours utilisé du Victorinox dans le cadre professionnel et aujourd'hui dans le cadre personnel, car c'est une marque suisse reconnue pour sa qualité et son bon rapport qualité-prix. Cet aiguiseur est simple d'utilisation et vraiment pratique au quotidien: pas besoin de frotter le couteau pendant 5 minutes, quelques allers-retours suffisent pour retrouver un bon tranchant. Je recommande de prendre le grand modèle, qui offre une meilleure prise en main. Cela fait maintenant 6 mois que je l'utilise et j'en suis très satisfait.

Ideal for sharpening knives with broader and thicker blades. Restores their original razor sharp edges. A 'Must have' for every domastic household, inspite of seemingly steeper price. Bought the second one, after 3 years of delightful results, for use at place where I have to stay away from home, due nature of work
