Attractive and functional
This has been a nice addition to our lower deck. Perfect size -many of the drain chains we checked out at our local hardware stores were too short which would have forced us to buy too and modify for fit. Nice price point and came with the hanger hardware as an added bonus. Recommended!

Easy to install and work pretty good
The media could not be loaded. I have to give 4 stars because you have to buy the adapter separately

RAIN CHANGE
So very pleased with the 'rain chain.' We thought it would be a pleasant change from the downspout on our front porch. It is extremely easy to install and directs the rain overflow to the ground without splashing. If we are expecting a nice shower, we put a five-gallon bucket at the bottom of the rain chain and can use the water for potted plants around the house.

Very Nice Rain Chain
The first rain chain we have installed. This location on our gutter did not have a place for a downspout but needed one badly. The rain chain was perfect, drops into a plant and works perfect. Very happy with the looks and function!!

Small and unable to direct water
The media could not be loaded. Smaller than anticipated. Water splashes out and not straight through. I didn’t try it with the additional adapter, but it’s extra. I went with another style and it included the adapter up top and a chain w stake for the bottom. It is longer than this one too.

I think they look cool! Easy install.
My rain gutters were not working, I needed the rain to be able to come off the corners but the downspouts I think we’re ugly and was distracting from my swooped roof.I was so excited and thought the squares were cool. My gutter guy, removed the old rain gutters and easily (faster than me) installed the chains. They were short but I happened to have some black heavy chain (good thing I save stuff) buy extra black chain because 8’ doesn’t touch the ground from any roof.My son pulled up and asked “what’s the deal with your Jankie hippie rain gutters” so maybe not for everyone. If I had done just chains they would have been less distracting. So I might change them, but I think they are cool:) I’m excited for rain tomorrow so I can see how well they work.

an attractive option to installing a downspout
Our install was a new outlet port in our 5" steel gutters at the front entrance of our home. We used a gutter adapter to hang the chain from our gutter. The entire assembly doesn't weigh very much, and did not require an additional gutter hanger to support the gutter in the location we chose to hang the chain. We dug a 24" deep x 20"dia hole backfilling 6" with 3/4- gravel. Then placed a 24" deep x 24" circumference plastic pot [$10] filled with a few small concrete chunks and topped 1" round rock. We prior added 6 more 3/4" thru holes to the pot for enhanced drainage. 6hr complete install. tools & materials: plumb bob [$10], 2" bimetal hole saw [$15], rivet gun [$12] +4, 1/8" x 1/4" rivets [$1], gutter sealant calk [$8}, 5gal bucket of 3/4- [$2], 5gal bucket of 1" round rock [$2]. >plus, cost of 8.5' chain and gutter adapter. *weather report says rain for the next three days.
