John ChristianMen's Warm Fleece Dressing Gown - Green & Navy Tartan

Here are two pics of me wearing the size large dressing gown. I am 5’ 4” and weigh 7 stone 11 pounds, this will give you an idea for gauging size. I went for the large size as I wanted to really be able to wrap myself up cosily in this, plus it was 5 cms longer than the medium, and I wanted it to cover as much of my legs as possible. The sleeves are not too long. It has just been washed and dried in the picture, so it washes well.The fleece does not have a shag pile, it is a flat close to fleece finish, so not plush and fluffy but I prefer this as short cut fleece tends to wear better than shag pile length. It is cosy for our old drafty house and ideal for pulling on my wellies to pop out to bring in wood or coal for the fires, or deal with a dog during the night outside, certainly more appropriate than something pink and fluffy. Perfect for our weather in the Scottish countryside.I had expected the quality to have been of a higher calibre, but it is perfectly adequate, the usual threads that need to be trimmed and attention to detail on seaming is missing, much as you would expect from something made in China at this price, however, it is exceedingly difficult to find a nice tartan dressing gown and I am very pleased with this. I chose the green, it was a bit different and looks rather classy.

Item had no packaging, item is made of poor quality material, also permanently creased. Would not recommend this product for a quality gift.

Warm and, now I’m becoming used to it, comfortable. It’s very smooth compared to the one l left in a hotel 200 miles away. Strangely, the smoothness took some getting accustomed to, I would now probably buy one again. My first impression was, I didn’t like it. I can’t say recommended, try before you buy.I bought what should have been the right size, it is far too large.You may be surprised to hear, I’m keeping it.

Loved that the size was spot on, especially as it was a gift.My husband commented immediately about how soft and warm it was.I thought it was a little more expensive than other similar ones I found online but opted to pay the extra as it was the only one I could find in my hubby's favourite colour, green.Durability will probably be short lived as it will more than likely be scratched to bits on the chest and shoulders by our over affectionate cat who loves to 'knead' on the soft fabric. I'm sure that normal wear and tear would be a far longer period otherwise.
