I just purchased this product for my 'lil 9 yr old that just got an arm cast. Lucky for us she didn't break her arm during hot summer months. But because I want only the best for my kid, I decided to give this a try. Her facial expression equates to a 5-star rating! She said it's great. She feels a cooling sensation going through her cast as soon as the vacuum cleaner turns on.This is a great concept. A truely great idea. Very easy to use. You can cut it down to your arm/leg size (which I didnt know about). I wished my kid's doctor told me or show me this product when she got her cast on so we didnt have to wait for the product to be shipped to us.The only concern I have is how many times I can use this product since it's got a semi sticky adhesive on the back. Ideally, I would like to keep this product for possible future casts :/Regardless, I would highly recommend this product for anyone with a cast!

Being in a cast isn't fun; but the CastCooler certainly makes the experience more comfortable. Hook it up to the vacuum cleaner, wrap it around your cast, and experience immediate relief as it draws cool, fresh air inside ... it works wonders when feeling itchy or sweaty and helps to eliminate the "stink" that is part of the cast wearing "experience."This is the second time I've needed to use the CastCooler; the first time was last summer when I was in a cast for total of eight weeks after hand surgery ... and here I am a year later and two weeks in after breaking my wrist and will likely be in the cast for another four weeks (ugh).I can't imagine being in a cast without having a CastCooler. I think every Emergency Room should recommend this product as part of their post-ER instructions for cast patients.
