5 stars based on price. I didn't expect nor need them to be perfect. Work great and easy to use. The only improvements would be the rubber tube quality and the joint that connects the extension. But just pay for a more expensive one if you need that.

This is a set of two mechanics stethoscopes. They fit into my ears well and you can determine where a noise originates by moving them around and placing them on the surface of an engine. Use caution where you place the scope to avoid moving belts and rotating parts. These are pretty well made, are simple to use. They are quite sensitive to sound and work well. They look nice and have a bright shiny finish.

The ONLY thing I didn’t like was the little metal extender that you connect together in 2 parts to make it longer it’s a little flimsy it keeps loosening but other than that slightly annoying part it works literally perfect I was able to diagnose a bad fuel injector on a Toyota Taco I love the tool for the price you won’t regret it it’s very sound sensitive

Why did you pick this product vs others?:This is an absolute bargain for what you get. TWO! I used these to ease my mind thinking I had a lifter tick on a 5.3 LS. Elated that it wasn't.

I don’t know wether to be mad or happy with this product for the price it’s great but it helped me find out my jeep has rod knock so I sent a rod to the moon and now I’m mad, the ear piece could be better not very noise canceling so it’s hard to narrow down where the noise your looking for is coming from, good price, product works… kinda, I’m still mad.

Been working on my own stuff as much as possible all of my life and never owned one of these. Finally got to a squeak I couldn’t ID easily… this made it simple to determine the noise was the water pump on one of my HEMI’s! Awesome addition to my toolbox.
