Not 1 piece, 3 pieces glued together
Very disappointed it may be solid walnut but its 3 solid pieces glued together. It does what its supposed to do but time will tell.

Wonderfully made!
I was looking for a rolling pin that was sturdy, easy to use, and made of wood. I've had a marble one in the past and found it a bit too heavy and cumbersome for my liking. This not only feels nice in my hands but also gets the job done without requiring too much effort on my part. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a high quality rolling pin!

Better than what I was after
It's a beautiful piece of wood with substantial weight but not to heavy, better than what I had expected, looking forward to many years of use. It's nice to get a fine piece of craftsmanship!

Best Rolling Pin Ever!
I had been looking for a rolling pin that has enough heft and is big enough in my hands that I feel I'm really in control. Most pins are too light or too thin or too large with those silly corn holders on the ends that allow the pin to roll. This is more in keeping with the ones I've seen in grandmother videos from Europe. My only wish is that it were 20" or longer.

Exceptional quality and workmanship
I ordered the 18" Walnut rolling pin. It arrived yesterday "on time". When I opened the package I could not have been more pleased. It was well packaged and protected from shipping damage and came with a hand written note from Thomas with care instructions.It is wonderful to see real quality and care in a handmade product.

Solid roller without handles. GREAT LENGTH!
I love my rolling pin the best of any I have ever owned and that is quite a compliment since I am 71 years old and have cooked a tremendous amount!

This rolling pin is well made. It is the right length and weight. It is perfect for rolling out pie crusts! If you like making pies, this is a great rolling pin for you!

High quality, hand made, attractive addition to any kitchen!
I love it! Handmade and excellent quality. I like the fact it’s handmade and Amish. I used the rolling pin to roll out puff pastry for galette and the rolling pin was easy to use. Some how it made the galette taste better knowing I used that rolling pin!
