Quieter and more powerful than most. I'd buy again.

I love the cross shredded, safety aspect for preventing identity theft. I would say the convenient trash bin is cheaply made (Hollow) but worthy of its design 🙌 and really does its job. If you use with mindful care the bin will last and never break. I am curious if the rotor blades ever need sharpening? What can I use 🤔 please advise....thanks

I like it. It's sturdy. Powerful. Gets the job done quickly and quietly. The wheels are very smooth and glide around in a satisfying way. The bin holds a lot of paper and slides out in a smooth satisfying way. I have zero complaints. Would buy again. 100%

An honest review of the 22 sheet AURORA AU2260XA. Perfect size for my home business (1ft 2.5 inches wide. 1ft. 11 inches tall.) Wheels roll well on all surfaces. Shreds documents, Amazon boxes,old magazines,Sam's club & Costco cardboard containers with blissfull ease & crosscut security. Stays cool even after 55 minutes of continuos use. Well worth the price, and far better than my previous 2 owned. 👍

I love how easy this is to empty, and it has an auto button or you can just leave it on.I got frustrated with my old shredder because it could only take a few pages at a time and I had to dump it over and over. I shred all the junk mail that continues to come for a family of 5 and it has been amazing. So far it has not jammed once!

To be honest I bought this for the sole purpose of shredding cans which was primarily differnt from industrial shredders because of costs, less than $500 vs a couple grand. Anyways after reverse engineering the piece here, more specifically removing the cover-hood, it worked great on aluminum cans. The number one thing to watch out for, paper, cds, or cans, assuring that you give the motor breathers here and there. Definitely worth the money for me, my motor had jammed up for 2 days because I had shredded up about 50 cans at once, so take it slow with the piece.

Someone else wrote that their shredder was 'dead on arrival.' So was mine! It doesn't power up at all. I plugged it into several outlets and it just doesn't work. When I called Aurora, the response was 'plug it into a different outlet,' even though I indicated I had already done so. So I did this and the representative's response was 'that is so unusual. that never happens. you should send it back.' So I am doing that, but apparently it does happen. I have ordered a replacement hoping this was just a fluke -- stuff happens! Stay tuned....

This truly is a great work horse. Has not had to cool down once. Handles the load wonderfully.
