The nursery swivel chair in my daughters room started squeaking loudly when rocking her to sleep so I purchased this grease to get rid of the noise. It does work well to lubricate metal and it's gotten rid of the squeaking. Id recommend this product.

Versatile stuff. I use it on bike bearings and on the boat. Be sure to check the weld on the bottom of the tube. Mine wasn’t good and made a mess.

This has become my default go-to lubricant for any task requiring more viscosity than can be provided by oil. It adheres well without being sticky. In other words, it stays where you place it without it being tacky or almost string-like like you can find with wheel bearing greases. In this respect it is a good candidate for roller chains, whether on bicycles, motorcycles or chain or geared equipment of all types. Being a synthetic product, its operating temperature is unreal, from -45 F to 450 F, and it does not have the terrible odor associated with heavy organic lubricants. Lubricated parts glide smoothly and silently and the product has higher water tolerance than competing products. Although the cost for small quantities is considerable, a little goes a long way. This is a very fine product and is highly recommended.
