Hunter Unisex Original Gloss Wellies

These are seriously gorgeous boots (oops! wellies) but wow, they are like a gorgeous pair of boots! In fact, they fit me on the calf and just under the knee better than any knee boots, however much they have cost to buy, ever have done. Its as if they are made to fit my legs and feet perfectly. I can see why some gals with bigger calves may have had an issue. I have slim legs and slim calves and I slipped these on easily and they look great, no baggie anywhere, which is sometimes the case with slim legs. Now onto the foot bed - I have size 6, slim feet to match my slim legs and yes, they fit my size 6 feet perfectly, not too wide as some boots (especially wellies) can be! I'm seriously delighted with these Hunter wellies, makes me wanna be a festival goer :) Seriously cool. Smart as heck for sure. Super comfortable, a delight to wear, look absolutely amazing slipped over my tight pale jeans and teamed with my Barbour Durham jacket. Yes! Buy some girls if you are slimmed legged like me, they will fit like a dream. I bought mine in the Original Gloss Fuchsia. I'm thinking these Hunters are so great I need to buy, as soon as possible another pair in a different colour, maybe dark Olive or even Black. Seriously great boots (oops! wellies!) RECOMMENDED ... I don't go out walking dogs as I have cats but I am now off for a walk in these as they are worth taking for a walk :)

These are great boots and YES they are worth the price. How can I say this? My last pair were the Huntress model a bit lower on the leg and a bit wider in the calf, but I have just retired them after everyday use for SEVEN years. This pair are higher, good for walking my dog through an estuary where the extra two inches means dry socks in the channel as the tide is coming in. Partner has higher boots and enjoyed laughing at me getting a deluge in my Huntress boots as we waded. No more, this style are taller! All Hunter boots have a heel that is good for riding, no different boots needed for a hack out with equestrian mates. The heel and good fit makes them comfy enough on the arches for a weekend at the local cyder festival or a late night drive to get a bottle of wine in the rain. Bottom line is these boots are worth every penny, they last for an age and if you live rural you end up living in them for years. Literally years. I worked out that my old pair had cost me a tenner a year and I wear them daily. I know this isn't an issue for some, but with this brand you are not just getting a label you are getting a quality bit of outdoor kit. It's an investment well worth making. They do the job, 4x4 for the feet :)

i have had these hunter wellies for about 8 months, however a couple of months ago i noticed a squelching noise coming from one of them and it turns out that one of the heels have worn througth already! usually i buy cheap dunlop wellies and they last me for years! and yet these expensive hunter wellies only last about 6 months and they were not even as comfortable as my cheap wellies. would not recommended these to any one as they are very expensive, uncomfortable and don't last!

Having wanted a pair of Hunters for about two years I finally decided to purchase a pair from Amazon as these seemed to be the cheapest price. I am usually a size 5 and ordered size 5 and a pair of fleece wellie socks to go with them. I was pleased with the colour and although I had seen reviews stating the calf width is small I was pleased this fitted well although a bit slim on the ankle. When wearing with the fleece socks the boot feels more snug and the seam on the heel of the sock rubs a bit. If this continues to be a problem when wearing outside I think I will cut the heel out of the sock as the boot fits very well otherwise. I did think about returning for a bigger size but the actual foot is very roomy so the next size would be huge. One of the boots is very slightly taller than the other when put on a flat surface but not noticable when wearing especially as I plan to wear with the sock, however for the price and reputation of Hunter I expected them to be the same. Haven't worn these out yet so time will tell on quality etc but first impressions are good and I am very happy with the purchase.

Great buy fantastic price fit and quality , I am a size 7 which I ordered and the fit was perfect . I ordered the tall hunter Wellington which come to the top of my calf which look really smart and are ideal for a walk in the country they are very comfortable and stylish. I chose the navy blue and teamed up with cream and pale blue jacket strongly recommend 😀

Best price and delivery option I've found after a week or so of searching. I ordered them on Tuesday morning and they arrived two days later. The packaging was in very good condition also. I've owned many pairs of wellies and the quality of these wellies is clear. They fit really well even though I ordered a size up (usually a 6-6 1/2) as I want to wear sock with them in the winter. I was worried that they would be far too big to wear without thick socks but they are fine :) Really nice colour, just as described. Would definitely buy another pair!

Boots were very good but the calf was very tight and uncomfortable and so unfortunately had to go back. Think Hunter have changed their leg sizing

I will start by saying we returned these, though the quality was great, the foot comfort excellent. The reason for return was the upper leg was a lot narrower than expected and they could not pull up over the calves. But the seller was fantastic, they refunded the item without issues and the only down side was the leg we wanted to put in to them being was bigger than the design allowed for. I would recommend them, but check calf size and boot opening first.
