not the mailers you are looking for
I ordered these last year and received mailers that match the image (with a silver adhesive strip, and dark gray inside) and although these cost almost double what others cost it was worth it for the great quality ~~ Cut to a year later when I placed a reorder but what I received no longer matches the image (these have a clear adhesive strip with red text) and the quality is significantly less, classic bait and switch ~~ I am leaving this review as a reminder to myself to choose a different seller next time

Fantastic
These are simply awesome. While advertised as 6x10, the description accurately says 6.4x10, and for me that little extra room makes a world of difference. The bubbles are well filled, though I still use bubble wrap around my items for extra security. I've shipped thousands of items with these only ONCE has one been damaged, and from the picture it looked like something very heavy fell on it as it was destroyed. If I had any negative, it's occasionally the strip that protects the adhesive, and keeps it from sticking to other bags before use, is sometimes misaligned making some of the bags stick together. That's a huge nitpick though as they pull apart without harm.

I need some air!
For what I ship these are perfect, but I need them more for the size than the protection. They came very well packaged and were easy to organize once unpacked. (wrapped in separate packs....25 each I think). Great color they weren't faded. Good adhesion and the glue doesn't stick to the little strip you tear off or to your fingers when you do....I like that. The only con I could give you a heads up on...they could be a little thicker in my opinion. Still on a 1 to 10 in thickness I would go 7.5. This was my second box of 250 of them and I will buy again. GREAT VALUE by all means with free shipping.

Very happy with these strong, cushy mailers.
Very happy with these bubble padded mailers. I know a lot of complaints are being made on these mailers but I took a chance and find that they are terrific! I used a few today and was very pleased with the outcome. They have nice, strong side seams and once sealed, it would have to be cut open. That glue does not let go to open again...perfect! I like the vinyl covering so the items I mail will stay dry on a rainy day. I know some people complained about the size..6 x 10 is what is advertized and they do include the top flap in the size. The actual size of the mailer envelope turned out to be (without flap) 6 3/4" x 9". Obviously, the item inserted into these mailers would have to be smaller, depending on the thickness. The bubble padding is adhered to the full interior of the mailer to give a nice amount of protection. All in all, I am very pleased with the purchase of these mailers. I am confident that they will protect what I ship in them, as well or better than the paper bubble mailers I had been using. I just hope when I purchase again, I will get the same kind.

Excellent Mailers. Highly recommended.
I'm writing this review to sum up all the info I wanted to know about these mailers in one place. I'll put the summary up front: I like these mailers, they are perfect for my usual use of shipping a single DVD in a protective case and the price from supplier The Boxery is excellent. I would definitely order again and I recommend them if your use is similar to mine.Size: Like any mailer, the inside dimensions are what count and the mailer is flexible enough it can adapt to a variety of small objects you might send. The thickness of the object will obviously proportionally vary how wide the mailer will accommodate. I ship a DVD in cases with dimensions 5-3/8" wide x 7-5/8" long x 5/8" deep. This single DVD case fits in these envelopes perfectly. Easy to get in, but snug enough once inside. With the same width and depth dimensions, you could safely increase the length to 8-5/8" and still easily get the mailer closed. However, if your item is thicker, then the width and height will need to decrease to make up the difference. For example, a VHS plastic case I have just barely fits and it is 4-7/16" wide x 8" long x 1-3/16" deep. That's the max dimensions I could get in this mailer. The outside dimensions of the empty mailer probably don't matter too much but in case you need them, edge to edge, they are 6-3/4" wide x 9" long (excluding the open flap) x about 5/16" deep (it's harder to exactly measure the bubble wrap thickness).Weight: Excellent. Very light. They register .5 oz on my postal scale.Adhesive closure: Excellent. I peel the protective cover off and the mailer flap closes securely. Once set for a few minutes, I had to work to tear it open.Protection: Very good. The bubble wrap seems perfectly suited to the task and is just what I'd expect for a lightweight mailer of this type. I'm shipping things that are already in a protective case so it's fine. If you are shipping something that needs more protection you shouldn't be using a mailer of this type anyway.Durability: Excellent. These lightweight plastic mailers are tough enough to do the job.Exterior color: Very good. The description says a "bright white exterior". That's a little oversell but not much. When I set the mailer next to a standard sheet of copy paper, the mailer definitely looks a little on the gray side but is perfectly acceptable. There was no need to oversell it. These are fine as is even if a little grayer than pure white.Labeling to Exterior: Okay. My standard Avery address and shipping labels stick to the plastic exterior of these mailers okay but not perfectly solid. I put on the labels and pressed them down good and waited a few minutes. Then I tried to get them off with a fingernail under the corner and I could do so with relative ease. I think they would be fine for shipping especially if your label adhesive is new (my labels are a couple of years old sitting on the shelf as I'm a low volume shipper) but I'll probably put a piece of shipping tape over my labels to secure them a little more. The standard 2" wide clear shipping tape sticks better and, once on the mailer, I had to work at it to get it off.Writing on Exterior: Excellent. Some reviews on other mailers said that a Sharpie pen would rub off the mailers. Not this mailer. My test ink from a standard Sharpie pen worked just fine and didn't rub off.Suitability for Use: Excellent. They are exactly what I wanted for shipping a single DVD in it's protective case but are flexible enough to ship other small items as well.

Consistent high quality
I have purchased these multiple times. Consistent high quality. We have an online shop and mail several hundred packages a week. I prefer to ship in color mailers vs white or Kraft paper as it is easier for misdelivered packages to be found...or at least it used to be before the post office delivery delays that are currently plaguing our country.

Good quality poly bubble mailers
These are some good quality poly bubble mailers that we use regularly. Good thing about these mailers is that you need not use additional bubble wrap when you are mailing small boxes.Self seal seems works really good, I also like to add some of my own tape as an extra precaution. The padding is fairly modest, but it seems to do the trick. These are very economical. The wildly varying reviews puzzle me. The people who are giving this one star must have received a different product, perhaps from a different vendor. I highly recommend these. I took the advice of another reviewer who was happy with the ones he or she purchased from pro-packing supply
