My wife and I went to New York and this little map was very useful. It's plastic coated so nice quality (not a paper map) and it folds so it gets to be a convenient size (which made it easy to bring with us). It's probably best to research stuff ahead of time so you have a general idea of where you want to go and which subway lines and stuff.... but this is great for figuring stuff on the fly while you are out and about.

This animated map of NYC is fantastic! It shows all the neighborhoods and subway lines in detail, plus it zooms in on key areas, which made getting around the city a total breeze. The colors are bright and easy to read, so you can quickly spot where you’re headed.It also folds flat so I could keep it in my bag to pull out when needed.What I really liked was how user-friendly it was—navigating NYC felt so much simpler with it. Whether you’re just visiting or a local, this map is a great tool for finding your way around without any hassle.

For those who are "old school"; this is your map. We used this along with Google Maps to get around the city. Really like the way it explained the subways. Worth the $8-10 fee.

The laminated map of NYC was invaluable to me and my daughter as we navigated the Big Apple last week during spring break. Sooo convenient and super sturdy -- I pulled it in and out of my purse all day long. I used a dry erase marker on it each day to help me note where we were headed to that day. My daughter (14) teased me all week about "mom's map," but on the train ride back to North Carolina, she admitted, "That map really saved our butts a few times." #MotherKnowsBest Highly recommend this quality and perfectly priced map!!

Was very helpful in NYC, it rained most of the time and it held up. Obviously you can use google maps but this is good to look at for a Quick Look.

Bought this map for an overnight trip to New Yor City. We were able to get everywhere we wanted to go using this map. you can use a grease pencil on it or tape tabs to it.Is also had a useful subway map.
