Great bang for the buck
I bought this for my pioneer double din touchscreen stereo install on my 1998 c5 corvette, mostly because it was half the price of the competitor’s option with better reviews and faster shipping. Install was easy, I cut off all the “dead end” wires that didn’t go to anything on the other side of the harness, as well as the aux outputs and blue wire with a crimp fitting. After slimming down the harness, I just color matched the wires to the pioneer harness, with the exception of connecting the blue with white stripe wire to the blue pioneer wire.It would be nice if you could buy the harness already attached since most quality head units use the same connector, but that’s a very small complaint. Once you have your harness hooked in, it’s literally plug and play. I didn’t have to adjust anything, and it did a great job bringing the bose sound system to life.I really can’t ask for more. Since there wasn’t any steering wheel control to mess with, it was a nice easy install. I’d recommend this to anyone with a c5. Quality product.

Excellent way to Upgrade a C5 Corvette Entertainment System
The best solution for me was a quality single DIN radio receiver, integrated with the PAC ROEM-.VET1 interface, a SiriusXM SVX300 Tuner and installed with the Metra 99-3300 Dash Kit Metra 99-3300 Dash Kit . All components were purchased/shipped quickly on Amazon.I selected a quality single DIN receiver newly released from Kenwood, the KDC-X705. This unit features AM/FM, HD radio, CD, Bluetooth, Handsfree Calling, USB, SiriusXM tuner ready, Alexa, plus smart phone app remote control, and 22 Wats RMS per channel x 4.When installed, the Kenwood output harness speaker wires mate for wire to the ROEM-VET1 input harness. Note the exception is the Blue/White wire on the Kenwood harness is connected to the Blue wire on the ROEM-VET1 input harness. I cut off the White/Red, Green/ Red, Gray/Red, Purple/Red and Orange wires from the ROEM-VET1 input harness at the plug because they do not connect to anything. After mating the Kenwood output harness to the ROEM-VET1 input harness, there is a long red switched 12 VDC power lead. The radio with must be connected to a switched 12 VDC power source. On 2003 and older there is a yellow wire taped to the framework in the upper left area of the passenger footwell, that is accessed by removing the footwell panel. This wire is feeds off of fuse 11 and is not utilized by anything else. This yellow wire is connected to the long red radio power lead.I found that a small raised area on a bracket that supported the pin on the back of the factory Bose radio that obstructed fitting the new radio into the dash. I cut off this raised portion off, making this bracket straight across. At this point the the large plug on the factory harness plugs into the socket on the ROEM input harness, which then is plugged into the 18-pin socket it into the ROEM-VET1 Interface module, Remember to plug in the second large plug the on the factory harness into the mating socket on the ROEM- VET1 output harness (it powers the OEM subwoofer amps), which then is plugged into the 16-pin socket on the interface module. The third small plug on the factory harness is not utilized.Follow the Kenwood, SiriusXM Tuner and Metra instructions to mount the radio to the dash. Plug in antenna with a Metra 40-GM10 antenna adapter, SiriusXM Tuner (after mounting the satellite antenna), telephone mic (after mounting mic in desired location) and the Kenwood cable into the receivers' socket. The factory look is maintained while adding 2024 conductivity and actually improving the sound quality of the factory speaker system.

Great for C5 Corvette
Easy install, worked to fit an Alpine deck in a C5 (02) Corvette. Have had 0 issues 3 months later with the new Alpine deck using Bluetooth, Android auto, and other features. Would reccomend.

NOT completely plug & play ...
- After three failed installs of the Axxess XSVI-2004 Metra interface into my 2003 Vet 50th Ani ver with a Kenwood 375bt deck - decided - meh - I'd try one of these - cause the alternate was to trash the entire 20 year old BOSE system - which - honestly I had NO desire todo + the costs involved todo it right would have really hurt the pocket book. The only thing that annoyed me - first world problem - right - was that this interface needs a separate power tap - which I don't get cause there are two that come off the factory bus - thus I ran a fuse tap off the original 15amp Radio circuit - since - technically - it's now defunct since the PAC face ain't using for a power source off the OEM bus. The other minor issue I have is the wiring doc which comes with this unit is also annoying as all get out as it has a bus face for "high" pass speakers - aka tweeter leads - which - most over the counter - third party radios don't have - including the Kenwood which I installed. Thus - you have 4 completely useless leads which I bent back & then sealed using heat shrink tubing. Some folks complain this interface sounds "flat" - the Kenwood 375 has both a Auto EQ setting + a manual setting - I did the usual thing I've been doing for 40+ years - bumped the Bass a wee bit (+4) / turned down the mids (-2) & up'd the highs (+4) & the factory system started to sound pretty darn good - I also replaced the old 5-1/4 outboard Bose - on the convertible - there right behind the seats - with 6x9 - 3 way Kickers from CF & mounted them straight up using a small - odd deck mounts from EB - the system now sounds WAY better then the stock system ever did ... & thank goodness too ... cause - if this PAC face didn't work - it could have meant that old 20yr old Bose system was gone & had to be gutted - which I had NO desire todo - in closing finally - this PAC face worked & worked well ...

TOTAL SUCCESS
This works amazingly well! But beware your wiring! The blue/white wire from your head unit connects to the BLUE wire on the PAC harnes. You will need to adjust the pots. Just past halfway is perfect!Totally satisfied!
