After purchasing this bag and using it for the first time we did have a couple issues with the zipper.After posting a review showing the issues that we had someone from the company contacted us directly and offered us a 100% refund or a complete replacement bag.We still needed a bag with this type of functionality so we opted for a new bag being reluctant that we didn’t know if it was a scam or not. Without further ado two days later we had a brand new bag in the mail from the company directly. I highly recommend using their product due to if you have any issues whatsoever they will replace it or give you a 100% refund.The pictures you will see pictures of the old bag with issues and the new picture with the replacement bag in the wrapper and our old bag.

The zippers broke upon my first use. They ripped right off when barely full. The straps are strong but very hard to tighten. I had to use the existing straps and duct tape to make it camping but the drive with 2 you g kids to hours longer since I had to stop and fix tape every hour or so. Really disappointed. Do buy this unless your trip isn’t essential to be on time or have all your stuff. Miraculously, the contents were dry so I did list 5 stars for waterproof however 2 rolls of doctors tape might of had a hand with that.

An issue has risen now. We have used this once and the zipper seems to have split and not wanting to stay together. I'm hoping the company sees this and reaches out to me now.

I'm updating my original comment that will include the response I received from the company. The bag itself like other products could use updates and possible changes to make it better. I'm glad that the company did take notice of my review and they reached out to me to make things right. I stated in my original post that I like the bag for its material and overall strap construction. I am changing my rating since the company did reach out to me and we came to an agreeable resolution. I still plan on using the bag because of its utility and it's just a great idea.Memorial weekend was the purpose for purchasing the Taygeer. I placed luggage and other beach items in the Taygeer while on top of the vehicle, as the intended use. The Taygeer was not even packed full and I was quite surprised to the amount of room it has. Installation is simple. The disappointment came when we reached our destination and found a couple of seems ripped open (see attached photos).The material is heavy duty rubber and I do like how the straps go over the top of the bag versus being attached to the bag. Again, the only negative is how the bag ripped after the first use. The rips were towards the back of the bag where it wasn't even facing the wind while driving so that's a bit puzzling. The straps were tightened down because I did not want it to fly away while on the freeway so that section was very secure. I don't understand how the rips occurred but again...very disappointing. I'll have to see back on the original order for any warranties. At this point I don't recommend it.

Okay I’m not usually the type to write reviews on a product but my husband and I just did a road trip from Jersey, to Virginia, then to Alaska and WOOH this thing held on the entire trip. There was some moisture inside when we took our stuff out but it wasn’t like my stuff was sitting in water. Moisture was expected. If I had a tip I would make sure that it’s fully packed. Down size if you don’t think you have enough stuff to go inside of it to keep its form. We didn’t have any issues with It the entire trip. We were worried about people breaking into it while we were on the road so we bought a lock that locked the zippers together and we had no problems. I would say they could’ve provided better instructions on how to put it together. We had to find a YouTube video lol

You have to stuff this full or it will not work well. We did the first part of our trip and the carrier was more full, but still ripped. We organized better for the 2nd leg and it had more space causing it to flap, even though it was tightened really tight. Being as though it was flapping it tore open the zipper and we had a suitcase fly out on the highway. I did not receive the little straps that it shows, I do have roof rails on the sides that we wrapped the straps around before connecting but it didn't keep it from sliding back even with the rubber mat. It did handle well with the rain, nothing was wet, but unfortunately the wind from driving didn't make it 15 miles.

First trip with this product not as easy to install as you have to get on ladder take it with you & go to both sides of vehicle. Coming home zipper broke. Material is good, carry bag good & it did keep wind rain out but it was a mess of dead bugs and little bit hard to install for us older shorter people. Had to take a 2 step ladder with. Thinking hard case instead.

Installed easily, tied down as tight as we could, however didn't even make 15 miles of the 1100 mile trip we were on. Had to get out and re-secure. Then another 15 miles it just about ripped off the car. We ended up having to buy two ratchet straps to keep it in place. It was a very loud ride. On the way back, we made everything fit in the car, just so we didn't have to deal with the bag on the roof. Upon arriving home I immediately returned the bag to Amazon. No, I would not recommend or buy again.

Decent size bag, good strong straps. Unfortunately only 2 stars because the bag arrived with what seems to be a broken seam, which has resulted in a large hole. Have tried to contact seller but had no reply to sort the matter out.
