If you have never tried Lo'ccitane it is the best. I first saw this brand on QVC years ago and had to try it. Since then my husband asks for the soaps all the time. We love that the soap is triple milled, huge bars that make a nice thick lather. When I say thick lather, I mean lots of silky big bubbles that leave your skin feeling so soft, and clean. The scent on these soaps are superb and not over powering either. I love them all!

The media could not be loaded. Yes, the price, at the time of this writing, is now $14 a bar. That feels stupid high (but in reality isn't, as I'll explain below). However, after years of using this particular soap, I wouldn't change, and every time we stay somewhere else and have to use a different soap I wish I had this.The scent and lather are nice, and it rinses well without drying, so you don't have that greasy feel after using a body wash, for example. However, the two things that make this a good value relative to the obviously high price, in my opinion, are:1. The bar is oversized. It is nearly twice the weight of other bars. There is just a lot more soap here.2. It has the same characteristics all the way to the end. By that I mean, I've tried other bars, and it often seems like what is useful leaches out, and toward the end you have something that doesn't lather or clean well. These soaps, for me, work right until the end.Net, this will last a lot longer than other, cheaper bars.Overall, a good value and a great experience despite the up-front price, but the price is getting close to the inflection point, even for a loyal user like me...

This is a premium product at a premium price. The quality of the lather and the feel of the soap is very refined and the scent is balanced and smoother / more subtle than similar soaps. There are other options which have similar quality at about 1/3 lower cost (e.g., La Chatelaine Luxury Bar Soap and Pre de Provence Artisanal Soap Bar). Overall this is recommended as the top choice if cost is not a concern.

Certainly a mainstay for sensitive people who have fair skin and need a gentle touch to their skin that’s moisturizing a winter dry skin mainstay for myself and buy several with a delicious scent that will leave a delicious scent on your body

Very good for women and men. Mild scent too

I want to like the verbena scent, but I just can’t convince myself that I do. If you like the spa smell and more like strong essential oil, this might be for you. It does clean well, does not dry my skin out and holds the same quality I would expect from this brand.

Lasts forever, great scent. What's not to like?
