Great tool to have
This little sucker worked like a charm. Saved me loads of time and way better than the old method of a chisel and hammer.

Must have for replacing struts
must have tool! inexpensive and works perfect to change front struts on VW Jetta. Would have been very difficult if I didn't get this tool - don't break your screw drivers, just buy this cheap tool and you wont regret it.

Frustration Saver
Work just as it should! Don't waste your time and energy trying to spread with a screwdriver, chisel, etc. Do it the right way as the adage goes...work smarter not harder. lol

The knuckle dropped off
I watched several videos of guys replacing knuckles on cars. Most of them pounded on the knuckles with hammers. Pounded them off, pounded them on. One guy recommended getting a strut spreader. This thing worked perfectly. Insert, twist, and the knuckle dropped off. Putting it back, insert, twist, and the knuckle slides in place. It was easy to position and insert the retaining bolt. No pounding at all. Worth every penny.
