Is this tape acid free?

The packaging states, "Safe for color photos" and "Photo-safe determined in accordance with ISO Standard 18916" and "Conforms to ASTM D-4236." I am using my double-sided tape for family albums and feel confident my albums will last many, many years to be passed down to great-great grandchildren.

Is it 600 inches total or 600 inches per dispenser?

I have the package right in front of me. It states 6 rolls 1/2 inch by 500 inches for a total of 3000 inches. This a great buy for a great product.

Does this have protective paper on one side that I have to remove?

I use this tape all the time. Only the first 6 inches or so have a protective film. Once you remove it, it’s just the double side tape. It’s a little tricky to remove the protective film but it gets easier w practice.

Does this tape stretch? I'm trying to find a replacement for another double sided tape that's sort of rubbery and has no stiff plastic sheet.

I do not think this tape stretches like you want. It is intended to be a permanent tape with no give.
