LEATHER is the way, not Silicon.
If you are going to spend the money to get an inflated price case, spend the extra $10 to get the leather version. Apple’s silicon version will break chunks of the finish off and then the damage will just slowly grow. These leather cases are much more durable and sure the leather will fray with drops but it won’t come off in chunks and the damage doesn’t just grow on it’s own. However, if you learn anything from me today, buy Spigen cases. Way better quality and much better price.

Good looking case, minimal protection
This is my second purchase buying this phone case and it has a great sleek design. Main flaw being it has little to no protection on the front screen of the phone. The interior of the case features a nice fur like material to keep it from scratching the back side of your phone. The case does have mag safe as it’s directly from apple but I don’t see how it justifies the $50 price tag. After a while the case does seem to break down and the silicone starts to peel off revealing the plastic making it harder to hold on to the phone. Overall good looking case but bad if you want your phone to be 100% secure from drops.

If you’re hesitating…DONT!
If you’re like me, you are hesitating to buy this case because it definitely it costly for a silicon case, but trust me it’s worth it. I spent a ridiculous amount of my life scrounging for the best case I can buy. Bought two before this and for the extra $10-$15, I can say it’s worth it. The construction on these are pretty much flawless out of the box. I can’t speak on durability just yet but if use your phone like a normal person then I would expect this to last the lifetime of the phone. Color on the blue is amazing. You can’t beat the MagSafe on Apple cases. There may be stronger magnet cases but apple stated they pretty much pushed the magnetism to its limits. Anything strong may effect the phone hardware. The feel is perfect for my taste. I had a case that was more plastic like with not stickyness to it. Then I bought a ESR cloud soft case and that was toooo sticky for me, made it hard to put in/remove from pockets. This case is perfectly in the middle. I bought this case used in very good condition, and besides the box, it was essentially new. Worth the $10 more I spent on the other cases I will be returning now

Beautiful at first, but scratches easily and MagSafe wallet leaves marks
I really wanted to love this leather case for my iPhone 12 Pro Max — the Saddle Brown color is rich and elegant, and the fit and finish (at least initially) are classic Apple: sleek, minimalist, and premium. But unfortunately, after just a short time of normal daily use, I was extremely disappointed with how quickly the case began to show signs of wear. The most frustrating issue? This case scratches very easily. I wasn’t rough with it — no drops, no keys in the same pocket, no extreme use — yet the leather started to scuff and develop visible surface marks within the first couple of days. It went from elegant to worn-out surprisingly fast, especially for something that comes with a premium price tag. I understand that leather develops a patina over time, but this wasn’t graceful aging — it just looked damaged. To make matters worse, I used Apple’s own MagSafe wallet with this case, and the magnetic outline left a very noticeable mark on the back of the case. You can clearly see the ring where the wallet attaches, even after detaching it. It’s ironic (and frustrating) that Apple’s own accessories aren’t fully compatible with each other in terms of wear and tear. I expected some pressure marks over time, but not permanent discoloration from a basic feature like MagSafe. While the case still protects the phone physically and does feel nice in the hand, I can’t recommend it based on the way it ages. A leather case should become more beautiful over time — not look beaten up within the first few weeks. If you’re someone who appreciates pristine aesthetics or expects durability from a $50+ accessory, I would suggest exploring other options or materials.
