Amazing!!!
This flashlight is truly amazing. I use it for work everyday during long hours. The different level of brightness is amazing, and can be used for different purposes. I opted for the 2 batteries thinking that I would need a back up battery. I haven’t had to use the second one yet. It has lasted for weeks without a charge. I love it. I only wish the holster remained a bit more secure on my belt.

Great little flashlight.
I liked the durability and brightness. Can really see everything in the dark. It does get warm although if u don’t leave it on for long periods of time it is no big deal. Great purchase.

Versatile light for daily carry
This is my first tactical flashlight that I have purchased and it’s definitely the most expensive flashlight I’ve ever bought. I am very impressed with this nitcore mh12s! It’s very bright and the rechargeable battery seems to last awile even with someone like myself who has it holstered on standby 90% of the time. I use the holster everyday but my one complaint is that the adjustable “tab” that keeps the holster in place on my belt is not strong enough to not work itself loose. Other than that, it’s a 10/10 for me.

Great Flashlight.
Great brightness in a small package. The button on the end is very conveniently placed; and being able to tap it on and off greatly saves battery life on long days of work. Another inspector had used it on a job with me and after I saw it in action I ordered one just like it.

Very bright but compact
I like the on off switch the mode button takes some getting used to.

Love this light
Love this flashlight. I would use my streamlight hl usb daily but it broke recently, so I ordered a replacement but noticed the new one wasn't as bright as the previous one. So I sent it back and ordered the fenix ph36 , olight m2r pro and this flashlight. The tailight on the olight would not always work properly so I sent that one back. The fenix was nice but the charging seal for the usb would not always seal properly being that it was really thin. Plus the side button would very easily be accidentally pressed and switching the output brightness. I ended up keeping the fenix but as leaving for car emergencies. And then there was the nitecore. I love it. Very durable and could be very easily controlled with work gloves. Also although those 3 other flashlights have about same lumens, I just loved the beam of this one much more.Do in short. For a small flashlight that would be handled with work gloves or in hot and dirty environments, nitecore all the way. Close second would be the fenix ph36. Olight m2r not so much

Incredible feel, weight, and brightness
This light is so bright it could disorient someone from across my backyard. Love the usb recharging that does not require removing the battery from the light. I am an aficionado of flashlights and I have hundreds but this one wins hands down.

Great Technology On A Budget
I hate to buy products manufactured in a country whose political leadership and military are actively trying to take over the world (let alone steal everyone’s’ technology), even though I have friends who come from that country.I always look to see where a product is made. If it’s made in Taiwan, it’s good to go. Japan? Even better. Germany, England, Austria, Switzerland, America? Hallelujah!HOWEVER, this company is one of the very few notable exceptions that I will make to my otherwise ironclad rule. This company designs and builds flashlights with the very latest technology in LEDs and batteries. They respond quickly to advances in that technology. If an American, European, or Japanese flashlight company responded as quickly as NITECORE does to advances in technology, I would happily pay twice the price to reward them for it, and I would be convinced that I would be buying a more durable product.I can’t wait until one does. Until then…EVERYONE needs one or more bright, reliable hand-held flashlights for their home. Maybe one for each vehicle as well.Rechargeable lithium battery technology has been an absolute game-changer. I bought a Sure Fire rechargeable xenon flashlight about a decade ago, and loved it. It was hot enough to cook bacon, and the highest intensity setting burned up all of the (huge) battery juice in minutes. Those batteries didn’t have a long lifespan. Different technology.Nowadays, lithium batteries store so much energy, that you can literally have days of light on a low setting. This particular flashlight will give you months of light in an emergency situation on its lowest setting (1 lumen), if you were to say, use it every single night for 8 hours for navigation in a pitch black environment, or for reading. That’s pretty impressive.I had an earlier model, and it lasted me a few years with daily use and a few drops in between. This updated model comes with larger batteries. It has a new LED with about 80% more lumens (1000 lumens was already SO bright; didn’t think I’d need 800 more). It also has such a long throw and concentrated bean, that it would be VERY useful in a search and rescue type situation. One noteworthy feature of this torch is that it has a 1” head and body. Typically projector beam (long throw) flashlights have a larger diameter head in order to focus the beam tightly for distance. I have no idea how this little guy is able to do the same with its tiny diameter, but it does, and it’s amazing. It also has a strobe function that is truly disorienting. It randomizes the timing between the flashes in fractions of a second, and even though the strobe is really fast, it can kind of make your stomach feel weird. Can’t imagine what it would feel like to the bad guy on the other end of the beam in a darkened house or business. The ONLY REGRET that I have about this flashlight’s performance is that THE COLOR OF THE BEAM IS YELLOWISH. It’s immediately apparent, and a bit distracting. It largely goes away on the two brightest settings, and is most noticeable on the 2nd and 3rd lowest settings.I hope that you don’t buy this product for the reason detailed at the very top. But you probably ought to consider it for household and automotive safety and defense.
