So easy and durable
It’s a bit pricey but not for what you get. The torch is really easy to use and safe. You can tell it will last

The beautiful design.
I've seen a lot of Culinary Creme Brulee Torch but I only like this one by Keen Smart. It's beautiful butane torch for cooking Pig's Feet (Giò Heo Giả Cầy) with a nice design of a Flame to let you know how much butane is left.

It's a good torch for a home chef
First off, I'm not a professional chef nor do I write reviews for extra income. I ordered this torch as an adjunct to my recently purchased Sansaire Sous Vide machine. The best protein cooked in it still look rather anemic. And while the taste and texture are tremendous I wanted that deep, rich searing to go along with the rest. So, that brings me to "The Torch". After reading multiple reviews on multiple products I settled on the Keen Smart model. I purchased via Amazon Prime and received my torch well packaged, in two days.Once I opened it and read all the instructions I filled it with butane (not included) and proceeded to "play around" with it a bit as I had noting cooked to actually sear. The unit fits nicely in my smallish hands and is easily grasped and securely held. The checkering on the sides insure a good grip I suspect even if your hands are a bit wet or even greasy. The safety switch is easily accessed on the rear of the unit and although it is rather small, I had no problems with it. The igniter, immediately above the safety switch is much larger and easier to use. Now, the reason I only gave it four stars versus five; it did not and does not ignit first time, every time like I was led to believe. And the ring lies the rub. You have to reset the safety switch every time you attempt to light the torch. I get why. It makes sense. But it's a pain when the thing doesn't light to have to reset it. Most times it lights on the second or third attempt. The flame adjustment, located adjacent to the nozzle of the torch is ambidextrous. A nice feature for south paws. In fact, all controls are ambidextrous. But the flame control isn't adjustable "on the fly" or at least I haven't figured out how to do so myself. So if you're want g a lazy, little flame, you'd better figure that out before lighting it up.So far I've actually used it to sear several steaks and a three pound flat brisket. It performed admirably. I haven't had to refill it yet so the tank is a decent size.I'd prefer if the flame were larger and wider, but then what guy wouldn't?All in all its a pretty decent product and since it's used only occasionally and not in a professional kitchen it's ideal for me. The removable stand holds the unit nice and safe on the counter and its small size versus a large propane/butane Bernzomatic torch is great for a home chef.

Good for more than just cooking!
The the torch works great. I haven't got into the culinary side just yet, but it did come in handy for lighting fireworks at a party next to a river. I needed something that would do much better than those cheap "Walmart" long stem lighters and this product surpassed my expectations. The torch even lit when the wind picked up, no problem :) I also used it to start the bonfire that night, and my charcoal grill the following Monday. The fit and finish is good quality, and I like the weight of the torch my hand. I do feel future versions of this model could benefit from a butane level indicator, but that's no biggie for this review.Great product, great buy!

Read the whole review. It says everything I feel. If my opinion is truly called, u shouldn't need to hear that my whole opinion
Like that it came fast, and I love that it works really well. The torch is great at what it was advertised to do, but I absolutely hate that they didn't tell me it needed special (ultra refined) butane gas before I bought it. Id hav probably bought a cheaper torch and butane at the same time had I known my regular butane wasn't going to cut it. I didn't even known they had special butane, so that was a little silly. I guess I just started the reason why they don't tell u b4 u buy it, cuz they stands a chance of losing someone as a customer that's already interested in their product out of thousands of other vendors. They could also give a small complimentary can of that with their torch.

Works great! Update: Works not at all
Exactly as advertised. Works great!Update: Used it about 6 times and now it is broken. Gas chamber is full, but when it lights the flame stays for about 2 seconds and then the flow of gas stops, and yes..... I am holding the button the whole time. Can't believe it stopped working! It's brand new, and seems so well-built. Since it's something you don't use daily by the time I used it 6 times I was outside of the return policy, so I guess it'll be going in the recycling bin. smh

Big torch. Really big. Pictures do not do it justice. Works.
Finally, a torch that works. I've bought a few of these different ones now and they're all so poorly made and just a bunch of painted plastic junk. Well, this one is not an exception, it too is just painted plastic junk. But, it was inexpensive and it works well. Big torch jet flame blasting out of it. Lots of simple safety mechanisms. Huge hand piece which I like. No fooling around this is huge. It works. I just don't expect it to last long since it's made so cheaply.

Have fun with this little gem, worth the money.
This little torch has all the power needed to top off our baking needs. We were looking for easy to fill, easy to use, sturdy metal body. (We were conderned with plastic parts breaking). Some reviews mentioned it could tip over, our concern with this purchase falling over was relieved when we received it. Unless you take off the black base you would have to knock it good to make it fall. It has a lock that is easy to use if there is concern with the flame.(you can hold flame manually or place the lock in place and not have to hold the button in)
