I absolutely love this trash can! The motion sensor works perfectly and makes it super convenient, especially when my hands are full. It opens quickly and closes quietly every time. This trash can works great! The features and control panel design are simple to use and works well. The lid opens to slightly less than 90 degrees. This isn’t an issue from the front, but requires a little extra length when putting trash in from the counter behind; it does help keep food from getting in the hinges. The sensor is very responsive—almost too sensitive as we set it off walking next to the trash can—and it quickly opens again if we need to add more trash before it has shut. It controls trash odor. The 13 gallon bag fits the can well and putting the edge of bag over the ring and inserting it into the can is easy. The ring holds the bag securely while in use. Pulling the bag out of the can is reasonably easy as long as it isn’t overloaded. Filling the can to just below the lid gives us a full bag that is easy to pull shut and tie. This sensor trash can is a great value for the price!

Ordered this to replace one we where the lid no longer opened automatically. It's the exact model but had been upgraded. Works great, doesn't open just from walking by as my other one did and is soft close. I really like it. Hands-free open and close is great when hands are full.

Works great but arrived with a huge dent in the can. Helps reduce smells. It's light. The stainless steel is easy to clean. Possibly something could be done in regards to the packaging process to avoid damage in transit. Product itself it great.

I would give this more than 5 stars if I could! How did I manage without this amazing garbage can? I always thought garbage cans were all the same and lately, it seemed that the typical tall kitchen garbage bags didn't fit well, wouldn't stay up in the can, and the result was a messy can that I was constantly having to clean. No more! This can solves so many of those issues. It's a very substantial can and is well-built and sturdy. My 13 gallon tall kitchen bags fit perfectly. The rim that is placed on the can after the bag is in place HOLDS the bag firmly in place. The best part is the lid with the sensor, which means I don't have to touch the can to deposit garbage inside. This is important to me while I'm cooking or otherwise handling food in the kitchen. The size can I have requires C batteries and since I just got the can, I don't know how long the batteries will last, but the cost and effort to replace them will be well worth it. Everyone in my family is singing the praises of this magic can!

The media could not be loaded. Had one since three years ago the sensor stopped working because it was left on my back porch in the rain I still used it. But because I love it so much I had to re order another one. This trash can is my favorite thing in the kitchen.

I have three of these cans now. One was given to me, I bought another, and then when one "died", I ordered an entire other one before realizing I could have ordered order just the lid and saved some money. So I did that and now have 3. What I love about this thing is the size, and the inner ring. I will fully inflate my 13 gallon trash bag, keep my hands inside and put it into the can, then run my hands up the opposite side and it stays on place, so I essentially get all the room of the bag for trash and very little air trapped under the bag; and that's not to mention the ring at the top that both holds the bag on securely and seats the lid properly. Stinky garbage isn't an issue and I don't need to touch the trash to open it, just wave and it's good, then it closes itself. I'm quite happy with these cans and would buy them again if I didn't already have enough!!

I got this trash can as a replacement for my old one. The lid used to slam the side of the counter every time I open it, it was with a foot pedal. So I replaced it with this one, it’s smaller than the I had. But it’s ok I don’t need bigger it fits exactly the 13 gallon trash bag. The problem is every time I pass by it the lid opens I had to replace the batteries with a month or 2. I can’t put it away in a corner it has to be in the way of the kitchen entrance, I kept the box to return it but I’ve changed my mind and kept it, I need to find a way so it won’t keep opening every time I pass by it.
