Great conversation starter!
I love how the story develops and it helped starting a conversation with my 5 year old about what’s okay and not okay and how to report.

This is a great little story about kids working together to stop bullying without turning into bullies themselves. It also doesn't minimize the child's experiences by excusing the bully in some way like other books do such as 'this is what they learned from home' 'others treat them this way so that's why they act like bullies', etc. It shows that some people are just mean and it doesn't matter why; only that kids have the right to not be bullied. It has humor but accurately portrays bullying in school and the steps children can take to involve trusted adults to help protect them.

Character Building At It's Best!
My kids (3yrs, 8yrs, 9yrs) love this book so much they want to start a Bully Blockers Club at school. This really opens the lines of communication about bullying, what it looks like, how it feels to be bullied and be the bully. Children will gain something different from it at each age/stage that they are at. Helps to bring to light the empathy factor in your child. Great book for parents to take for Parent Reader days. This is an excellent tool to help with character builing in the classroom!!! BUY it for your child's teacher!

Great book for my five year old
My five year old loves this book so much she even brought it to school for show and tell. It enables you to have conversations with your children about bullying and explains how the children being bullied feel. It also gives you steps in the end to manage and/or prevent bullying which are great.

Good bullying resource
This book does a good job of explaining to younger students the meaning of bullying and what to do if they are bullied. I use this in classroom guidance for the younger grades.

Gifts of books a big hit with 2nd grader!
These books were purchased for Christmas for our granddaughter...she has read all of them and loved each one. I purchased the books on the recommendation of her 2nd grade teacher and school guidance counselor.

Super great book
Super great book! The kids in it think of "solutions" similar to what my students would think about (respond physically to bullying) but the main character dismisses them and creates the club which is an awesome idea. It's a really quality book with great images! This is an awesome book

Excellent book. Helped my child who was struggling with a mean child and unsupportive daycare. Helped as we found new care.

Realistic storyline- empowering
Well written, good storyline, inspires kids to take the high road and stand up for each other and to problem solve themselves.
