Incredible customer service!
I've just started whittling recently, for which I bought an Opinel pocket knife. I knew I needed to get some sort of protection, as whittling can be dangerous even for an experienced whittler. Having looked at reviews, I decided these gloves suited me best as they have the rubber grips, and being white the colour should not rub off on my wood (some people say that black rubber bits make black marks on projects). However, the SMALL size just wasn't small enough for my little hands. The gloves themselves are great - but it's no good if the ends of the fingers are flopping about, as I need precision to operate the knife on the wood. I felt disappointed and left them aside for a few days. Then, NoCry sent an email talking about how much they wanted customers to be satisfied, and to email back if we have any issues at all. Now, I don't have an issue with the product - after all, it's not their fault my hands are super small. But I did write back to explain that it would be good to try XS size if it became available.NoCry emailed back super fast and we even had a nice little email exchange talking about what would suit me, and they were very helpful. They ended up recommending their grey pair of children's/XS gloves. I hadn't realised before that these ones came with the option of the rubber grips. NoCry immediately sent me a pair (came so quickly both times) and even refunded the difference from the ones I bought originally. The new ones fit PERFECTLY.I am genuinely blown away by the customer service. They really do deserve all the nice reviews that have been posted.

So far, so good, although expensive, much thicker than normal gloves of this type.
I bought these gloves because the ones issued from work are rubbish. I work in the warehouse putting stock away for 8 hrs a shift, moving stuff around opening packaging n boxes using cutters and my fingers to remove the plastic film or boxes. I've only been working there 6 months n go through a 'work issued pair' once a month, they get holes in constantly and I'm sick of sewing them up practically after every shift.SO, I'm hoping that actually buying these, at the price they are, that they will be wonderful and last for ages. They do seem thicker although the actual design is the same as work gloves. I have worn them for 2 nights, and so far so good. you may think this is a short time, but believe me they get holes in first time usually.I will update this in a few weeks and let you know if they have fallen apart, or withstood the test of time, hopefully the latter.

They work. The customer service is excellent.
These are awesome. Arrived quickly. I’ve used them while making my first spoon. I’ve slipped a couple of times and these have saved my thumbs from bleeding over everything. The first pair I ordered were too tight (I’m a size 8 hand and ordered a small - my mistake!). I got an email from the company checking all was well, so I told them that I’d ordered the wrong size. They replied really quickly and fixed the problem within days. They couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. If you’re after a pair of blade-proof gloves, I can’t think of a reason not to buy these. They work, as all blade-proof gloves do, but the customer service is excellent - you can’t go wrong.

comfortable and light
light and airy, comfortable to wear and survived a few slices with a knife. Note these are not puncture proof according the included instructions so I suppose no good for pruning the roses. Only problem in the fitting for me was the finger length was a bit too long, so if you've got hands like Donald trump might be worth giving them a miss.

Great Gloves
Not really tried them in anger yet but they are well made, the grip is good and they seem really tough for sensible use - kind of like the sort of fabric you'd get with a fire blanket - I suppose that is the glass fibre? The quality is excellent. They are a snug fit for the upper end of the measurement given for my hands. They don't stretch much so I'd like a tight fit for handling wood carving but if you plan to use them all day and don't need fine motor dexterity I'd go for a roomier size.

Ok for the price
These gloves are ok they might stop you from cutting yourself how ever they stick to the wood shavings and you'll be spending most of your time picking the wood shavings off the gloves it's like Velcro to wood shavings so if you're going to do whittling then you gonna find a lot of it will stick to the wood shavings apart from that the product does work however it would only work for a little while and it starts to Fray very quickly as I said it catches on the would it also catches on your whittling characters which sometimes does cause a bit of Havok with whittling

The fit and finish on these gloves is excellent, and I’m sure they will perform as intended
The fit and finish on these gloves is excellent, and I’m sure they will perform as intended. Although I haven’t had to test them to see yet, the rubberised texture on the contact area of palm and fingers is great. So improving grip when in use, nice touch. Overall quality is very good, fast delivery and excellent product quality and value for money leaves me confident in recommending these gloves highly.

So safe. Reassuring when using sharp blades.
As a rank beginner in woodcarving, I was a bit wary of those extremely sharp blades. These gloves are a MUST. It only took a short while before I was used to wearing them (until they softened into the form of my hands) and now I can't even tell I'm wearing them. They are fab. Would highly recommend everyone to wear them and to put them on even before taking sharp tools out of the work box!
