After 2 Years, Still Like New with Daily Use
My cockatiel has 8 toys at the moment and like many birds, he wears through them regularly. This is his favorite one, and it holds up. He's had it for 2 years as of this review, and he chews and pulls on it several times per day. It still hasn't shown any wear or tear and has a nice, sturdy build while also being pretty lightweight. The jingling of the bells isn't loud or sharp, so they don't get annoying, even when he's ringing them over and over. When he's singing, he'll often wiggle his head through all the bells to make them chime together. He also has one of those 3-ring rope toys near this. He likes to sit in the top ring, lean out and grab one of the chained bells, and then pull the bell up into the ring with him. When ready, he'll release and it and watch the whole toy swing back and forth. When you put him back in his cage when he doesn't wish to, he will hurry to this toy and give it a quick, angry shake. You can hear the frustration in the firm ringing, with how he slams the bells together. The same thing happens if he's already in his cage with the door open, and I come up and close the door. A moment later while walking away, I'll hear this toy get slammed. As you can tell, he's really attached to this and has found multiple ways to play with it and express himself. But... I grew up with a cockatiel that did not like playing with any toys, and just wanted to be out on your shoulder all the time... so it's not for everyone's bird. My childhood cockatiel would have ignored this, and would have just stood by it while waiting to be let out.If your bird doesn't already have an interest in toys, maybe this one will catch his/her interest and maybe it won't. That will be up to the individual bird. Mine already liked toys and activities before I ordered this. Actually, the complexity of the chains, bells, rings, and ball is what caught my attention. It seemed like something he would really like, based on his personality and how he paid attention to his simpler toys. If your bird likes toys, this could be a really good one to try. Hopefully, your bird will love it as much as mine does.

Great toy for a Red-Headed Mexican Amazon
The media could not be loaded. My bird is 34-years-old and I have never seen him enjoy a toy as much as this. He’s a first generation captive bird, as his parents were caught in the wild, so he has A LOT of aggression - even after being hatched and raised in captivity. It has taken years of patience and experimentation to find toys that can stand up to my pissed off bird. This toy has been nothing but magical! My bird gets really aggressive with the toy, and gets frustrated when he can’t grasp one of the colored acrylic trinkets. He keeps beating it up. It’s taken him nearly 2 years, but he’s finally broken off 6 of the plastic rings. The whiffle ball, chains, bell, and pacifiers are still in tact. The best part of this toy is that it has made him a nicer bird towards me. He doesn’t scream nearly as much as he used to, and no longer tries to attack me when I fill his food bowl. I want to think it’s maturity, but I know it’s the ball.He doesn’t like me knowing he has fun with toys, because he usually stops playing with them f he sees me watching him. I managed to catch him in the act one day hanging upside down on the ball pecking at it!

Simple and durable
I have a Caique that is pretty picky and hard on his toys. He enjoys this, he hasn’t destroyed it he plays with it quite often on his window perch

My African Grey loves this toy
This is a very stimulating toy for my African Grey. He has had a lot of enjoyment from it and loves all the dangling rings. It was advertised as being an appropriate toy for my type of bird. When I first saw it, I was a bit disappointed with the ball that the rings hang from. The plastic is quite thin and my bird could snap it easily with his beak. So far, it has lasted longer than I expected it to, which is approximately 4 weeks.

5 stars but could have been zero stars . . .
This has been one of the most satisfying purchases I have made from amazon in many years. I had to give this item 5 stars although depending on which way you look at it, I could have given it zero stars. I gave it 5 stars because my cockatoo absolutely went bananas over this toy. After placing it in his cage, it hung there for two or three days with him barely looking at it but then, it must have sung out to him as he entirely destroyed it within a half an hour. I have never seen him destroy any toy with so much exuberance and enjoyment. So, I could have given it zero stars as it didn't last very long at all. However, as anyone with a cockatoo knows, these cockatoos are extremely destructive and can tear up anything, metal or wood very quickly so when I see my Too destroy a toy quickly it means that he really loved it. When compared to my Too's enjoyment with this, the price made it a well worth bargain bargain. He not only pulled all the acrylic rings and pacifiers off but chewed them to shreds, bit through the chains and ended up demolishing the ball it is all affixed to.So, while it may be destroyed quickly by a cockatoo, it is well worth the price. If you are buying this for a Too, I'd recommend buying two or three. I will certainly be buying more of these.

Love these toys!
My African Grey loves this toy. She plays with it at least 10 times per day! She even hangs on to the dangles while she preens her feathers . Definitely recommend.

Not like the picture
The item came with none of the pacifier rings on it, which are my Amazon’s favorite. Both here and I are a little disappointed.
