Need to use the control pad to turn the PlayStation on, does not work on all apps, actually very pointless buy as I need to use the control pad a lot to actually get this to work.

It's not absolutely controlling playstation, you need joystick to open playstaytion, and you have to enter your account by joystick, then the rest can be controlled by remote control.The rest is okay

Only works on dvds not apps.Brought for using apps. Not the product fault but pretty useless

I bought this to replace my official ps4 media remote when it died. If you're looking to do the same then save yourself the trouble. In order to actually use it you have to use the ps4 controll pad to turn on the console and navigate into the dvd/bd player before you can use the remote, and then use the pad to turn the ps4 off again. Totally pointless using this remote if you can't even turn the console on and off with it properly. Useless, spend the extra and get the licensed remote with a PS button on it.

No instructions in box that explain anything, website no help. Youtube shows how it should work, but after 30 minutes gave up.

You have will need activate the PlayStation with a standard controller before you can use it .It only works on Netflix and no other tv channnels.The instructions are inadequate. It was to be honest a waste of money .You far better off just using the play station controller

Doesn't work no USB receiver.
