I order this cable for Garmin GPS 2598 series, cable OK, car rental vehicle with USB-C ports only ( VW Jetta with no cigarette lighter port) will not support GPS unit, low on power, my GPS unit indicate connected to desk top unit when connected to vehicle USB-C. GPS unit must be fully charged, engine running, than connect to GPS unit and sometime will work. Will support dash cam. Not cable fault.

Cable itself works fine. I took a star off b/c these were 'supposedly' 2 day Prime shipping. Shipped from Amazon. Ordered 12/2. Received 12/11. Maybe they flew back to China first before delivery. They came from Amazon California and only had to travel to Michigan. I actually ordered from another company in California (not on Amazon) on 12/2 and received that item 3 days later.

Very good quality

Got this to use with my Garmin Nuvi 50 GPS for updates. Works perfectly on my Windows laptop using the USB-C port, but, none of my Macs (Apple Processor, not Intel) support USB Mini to USB-C. That's an Apple issue. I can use any of my Mac that still have a USB port on them and my Nuvi connects. If you have a newer Mac with the Apple M serices processor, avoid trying this out with any hopes of it working for connecting a GPS. This cable will probably work fine though on M series Macs with external hard drives and similar devices. This cable is well made and worth the cost!

If you have a modern laptop such as a Macbook Pro or a Dell 2-in-1, you may have only USB-C ports available. Typically you would then attach a dongle that will give you USB-A, HDMI, etc. So far so good. You can now use all the cables you already have, to plug in to the USB-A as you used to. For example USB-A to USB-Mini. However, some devices will not work correctly when attached this way. Having the dongle in the middle between the device and the computer breaks the data chain. One good example is a Garmin GPS such as a Nuvi. It has a USB-Mini connector. If you attach it to a dongle via your existing cable, it will charge, but it will not connect as a data device to your computer. Enter this type of cable to save the day. This permits you to go direct USB-C (your computer) to USB-Mini (your device). No dongle in between. Now you can have a clean reliable data connection direct to your device. I am very satisfied with the function and strength of this cable. I personally observed it passing data at 90MB/sec which is pretty quick. By the way, I also bought the sister cable, USB-C to Micro USB, for another device with the same issues. Final comment: If you are shopping around, be careful to buy a cable that passes both power and data. This series does. Others do not, and will only charge the device without enabling a data connection. That would be no good for this scenario. In summary, when you need it, this is the cable you want.

Me funcionaron muy bien, solo hay que fijarse al comprar si la longitud del cable es la mas conveniente para su uso ya que puede quedar corto o largo al usarlo.

Muy bien presentado, de muy buena calidad el cable e incluye un cintillo de Velcro para enrollarlo, buen detalle, se siente muy fuerte, lo compré para una grabadora de audio, así que la velocidad de transferencia no es tema

Buscaba un cable único para conectar mi pedalera de guitarra con mi tablet. La tablet tiene un software para manejar la pedalera más fácilmente. En las tiendas nunca encontré este cable así que opté por comprar dos cables. Si funcionaba pero de repente se perdía la comunicación y había que desconectar y conectar todo otra vez. El tamaño de este cable es perfecto. Ya no me ha vuelto a fallar además de que el color es muy vistoso. Ya llevo 6 meses con él y no ha fallado. Fue una excelente opción para mí.
