Confirmed working Sysex Transfer.
Confirmed working with Sonicware Ambient 0 .Transferred Sysex 1.5 update no problem. Connect the Midi in to Midi Out and Midi Out to Midi in. Be patient the update take's a while, you may think its not working. Nice product and a lot cheaper than the more expensive alternatives. Plug and play

when is a lead not a lead? When it is a lead that is an interface.....
Works exactly as it should and it arrived quickly. What more can you say?I would add that I found the markings on the midi cables them selves confusing but that might be an age thing. As it is a lead I had thought the plug with midi in on it should go into the midi in of my keyboard which would be correct for a lead - that didnt work as this is a midi interface so of course the cables go the other way around - midi out plugs into the midi on of a keyboard. So I give it 4 stars as I found that confusing for a while.

works fine
Great price - lead works fine - using it for music production had a problem with my Daw and windows set up, now changed to a apple mac- evertthing running smoother - would recommend this lead no drivers required - just plug and play or plug and record - as stated great price

No opto-isolation
Worked on windows 11 however had ground loop issues so retuned. Suspect Midi in is not opto-isolated.opto-isolation is part off the the Midi spec.

Affordable and functional
Works well, good price - but mine works with the device MIDI out through the interface cable MIDI in, device out through in, which seems illogical to me, but there you go! Apart from figuring that out... it's plug and play with my GarageBand soft synths

No fuss, no muss.
Nice USB MIDI interface with diagnostic LEDs and third-party-driver-free installation as a standard USB MIDI profile device using Microsoft's built-in Windows drivers. I've not tested it on Linux yet though. Physically the node in the cable with the diagnostic LEDs is a little bulky and a bit plasticy but the MIDI IN/OUT cables are reasonably generous in length and have male plugs that can connect directly into your MIDI device chain, in my case both into my Yamaha keyboard synth without additional MIDI cabling. Operation using MidiEditor and Aria Maestosa worked seemlessly. One thing to bear in mind is that modern versions of Windows no longer provide the MIDI Mapper GUI so you can't tell, say, Windows Media Player to use the interface for playing MIDI files. There are a few free replacement apps on MIcrosoft Store but all the ones I've tried are rather naff and don't work very well.
