A wonderful story! My 7 year old daughter loves ballet and this story and it's beautiful illustrations were a perfect gift for her dance revue.

My granddaughter has the "Rosa" collection by Darcey Bussell, and has thoroughly enjoyed reading them over and over again. I am sure she will enjoy this collection equally as much. An interesting collection which gives youngsters an incentive to pick up a book rather than look at TV and computer screens!

The double includes the initial story from a series of books about girls who love ballet who solve a series of problems in a fantasy world based on famous ballets. My five year old daughter loved the 2 stories in this book. I'm personally a little reprehensive about reading stories to my daughter that glorify ballet. Nevertheless, the stories are engaging for a five year old and just a little bit dangerous. I don't plan to buy the rest of the series but the 2 stories were very successful.
