Received this snowflake projection topper today. Delivery was amazingly quick. The topper is exactly as pictured. The listing does a good job of depicting exactly what you will receive. The topper worked right out of the box. Our tree is only 4 ft tall so the projection is good sized. The snowflakes dance up the wall behind the tree and then mill about on the ceiling among the flurries. I think it is very serene and adds a festive feeling to our little tree area. For those concerned about the balance issue of the topper: yes it wobbles. I stuffed two top branches in the base then used the electric cord of the topper to wrap over the bottom flake appendages one on front, one on back opposite. This worked to secure the topper in an upright position. I will probably use some silver yarn/cording instead of the electric cord in the near future, but for now it works, is stable and I love it! Worth the money for this bit of holiday cheer!

If your tree is close to the ceiling, the area of projection will be smaller. In the photo you see, the star is about 2 feet from the ceiling (10 ft. tree). My first grader thinks it's very cool. My only complaint is that the cone part of the star that goes over the top of the tree is very big, so it is nearly impossible to straighten it up

The topper is so very pretty and it's sturdy but that leaves it very heavy. We put it on top of our artificial tree and the weight would make it slump to the side. It comes with an attached Velcro strap, using that I could get it to balance and stand up until some one breathed on it. With some patience and ingenuity, someone could have gotten it to work but my 3 yr old tugged on and messed with the tree so much, it wasn't worth it to me so we aimed the slumped topper at the wall and watched the show on the wall. That being said, despite all her tugging and messing with tree, the topper never fell off. That Velcro strap is sturdy!It really is amazingly pretty though, so next year we are planning to put it in my daughter's room on the dresser as a night light and it is going to be beautiful!

It was to heavy for my tree so I sat it in the back of my Blue truck and sat on the Mantel it looked so good in it.. While I was disappointed that I could not use on my tree... I loved the way it worked out in my truck

The display show on the ceiling is fun. The motor is very quiet. It fits well on our tree as it’s lightweight but kind of bulky, so if you don’t have a thick tree, I don’t know if it would work well.

The pictures are misleading. It makes only a small area of snow flakes, only right above the tree.

Star tree topper arrived today, was very excited. Open the box the product is very sturdy. I did not like The huge gap between the front and the back stars. The gap is at least 3 inches and you can see the white projector light from almost all angles except when you look directly at the front of the star. My Christmas tree is a 6 1/2 foot tree and I have 8 foot ceilings. The projection pattern on the ceiling from the star was all of about 5 inches across. This tree topper snowflake projector may have worked on a much shorter tree than mine, but does not work on a tall tree closer to the ceiling. The cord and connector are substantial and thick hard to hide inside the tree as not to be seen. The star looks as if it had been glued with glitter at a craft festival. I am not going to return the tree topper but use it on a child's tree in a retail setting We are it's not as important to look nice. I do not recommend this tree topper for home use if you want your tree to look well put together. I do not recommend this tree topper if you have a tall tree and normal height celings. this tree topper is not heirloom material. It might work for a frat house tree or a tree in the lobby of an office building. my overall feeling about this star projector tree topper is "MEH" So many better options in the world than this.

The media could not be loaded.  Its so easy to use, and it is better for trees that are a max of 6ft. Basically the taller the tree the tinier the projection. If you get a normal size tree it'll be just right. Also I'm glad to know that the lights aren't as blue as they show in videos. They're definitely white with a slighter yellow tinged white on the outskirts. Definitely don't regret buying.

Positive:Sturdy constructionThe projector is bright and so the snowflakes are visible even in a lit room.Negative:The projector is USB and there is no mention of this in the item description. No USB mains adaptor is provided.The throw of the projector is very narrow, and so the effect is extremely localised to immediately above the projector.I can imagine that if this is on a typical 5-6 foot tree, the effect will be limited if you have a low ceiling.

No plug,amazon unable to get one.Did get refund but cant use light unless order a new one,and nothing to guarantee I will get correct item

This is so lovely. Very Christmassy and festive. First time I saw it I thought it was a bit expensive for a silly tree topper but one of my friends got it and showed it to me. I fell in love immediately! Worth every penny
