Great lamp and base. The lens is distortion-free and the base is heavy enough to keep it in place. The base is also thin so it doesn't take up any space under the lens. The lamp runs on a standard USB A cord and wall charger, and if you use a common phone extension battery (which usually also uses a USB A connector) the lamp will run anywhere, not just where you can plug it in. The variable brightness and color are helpful. Overall a useful and well-designed unit.

I got this to help me do a paint by number that has very small areas to paint. The magnifier is clear, without distortions, if you place it at the correct distance from the item you're trying to see. You can easily adjust for the distance, and the lamp/magnifier stays in the spot you place it no matter where you adjust it to.The light is very bright. When my son is working at his desk and needs more light he frequently uses this as his lamp, as it's the brightest in the house. I highly recommend this magnifier with light.

The base of this lamp is very thin and heavy. It securely supports the gooseneck lamp. Because the base is thin, I can put my sewing machine on top of it and get the magnifier in just the right spot. I had a 1.75X lamp and this 3X lamp is a nice upgrade. The 5X magnifier distorted the image and is too strong for use with my sewing machine.

The magnifier is perfect to use when doing embroidery. The light Color Modes and the Dimmable selections are very useful.I wish the height of the Flexible Gooseneck was a little longer and the screw to hold the light in place was better placed.Overall, it’s nice to have.

Nice. Works. It fits in on my desk well. Unobtrusive, but useful. I read reviews before I bought it so assembled it very carefully and only move or adjust it by the flexible stem so cannot attest that that is necessary to avoid breakage but not taking chances. The light controls are working and it can go down to very dim sort of like a night light. The only thing I can think of that I'd like changed would be to move the lamp control closer to the base (by a half or a quarter of what it is now) while keeping the overall cord length the same, but as you can see from the pic (attached) it works adequately as is.

I use the lamp for fly tying. The magnifier is very clear and just the right magnification for tying flies. The LED light is excellent too.

This light works great. Magnification is just right power as well. I use this for fly tying and it is wonderful. Love that it comes on a stand and I don’t have to clamp it anywhere. It is just the right height and works extremely well.

This light is amazing with the magnifying glass. The type of light you can switch to is great as well. Here is why I gave it a 3. The plastic knob down toward the base broke before I even got it over to my desk. The structure the light and magnifier sit on could be improved. The metal plate it great as well, the light doesn't slide around or need a clip to stay in place.

This works perfectly for my diamond dot art. I don’t even have to wear my glasses when using this. When I’m not doing crafts with it I use it for a desk lamp.

I am so glad I order this. It really help when it time to do upclose thing. I use it to do craft and it make my hobby so much easier. I like that you can change the level and the color of the lights. The light is also very sturdy. It a game changer, do not hesitate and buy it.

Arrived on time and exactly as described. Very sturdy and works well! Great light options and 3 separate magnifiers. Able to see exactly what you're working on and the smallest details. A fabulous choice for aging eyes!

The base turns around and around so it is not stable. This happened a few months into ky purchase. The lamp itself is really good but I need the base/screw/arm replaced. I have not taken it apart.
