Quality Tool
Very well made. So far, I have used this tool for 3 watches and it worked flawlessly. I even had to tap the top of this tool with a hammer to drive the pins out of all three of the watches. The body of the tool is fairly thick aluminum but the pins are stainless steel. The pins thread into the body with fine threads that seem to hold up well under stress. I have had pin removers that bent easily in the past. These will not.

Great for regular diameter 20mm spring bars.
Great bar, works perfectly for regular spring bars but please note if you have a Seiko "fat" large bar like on the diver's 22mm spring bar watches it will not work at all.

Sturdy, and effective spring bar tool for me
This tool seems very adequately made and removed the spring bars from my watch easily the first time I used it. I read a lot of negative reviews that did not seem to apply to the tool I received. Did not bend or break, feel cheaply made or any of that. It's a simple tool that does a nice job. I only used the forked end for removing the spring bar. My watch does not require the pin-push end, which seems quite sturdy, but I didn't use it. I can't speak to whether the pin tool on the other end of this has too large a diameter or not. I tried to bend it, and it doesn't bend (and didn't break). Both ends screwed off and back on quite easily. I think it's a good value, and a tool that is necessary for removing most watch bands.

Perfect for its INTENDED purpose!
First things first: This is a spring bar removal tool. It is designed to assist in the removal and/or installation of a watch strap or bracelet from, or to, the watch itself. The spring bar is released by depressing the "spring" in the "bar", thus releasing the strap or bracelet from the watch. The end of the tool with the pin is for use on watches that have pierced, or drilled lugs. The notched or "forked" end is for use on those watch-lugs that are solid. THIS TOOL IS NOT DESIGNED TO HELP REMOVE OR ADD LINKS TO WATCH BRACELETS! Therefore hitting with a hammer to punch out link pins, will of course, destroy it. There is is another set of tools available that IS specifically DESIGNED to remove or add bracelet links (see my last photo). NOW, about this tool: I have given it 5 stars for several reasons. First, it is longer and thicker than many others making it easier to use and maneuver. It is also exceedingly well constructed for durability. Next, there is a metric ruler engraved on the body of the tool which allows for measurements of strap width and lug separation. Straps are often tapered And the ruler will help determine that, and the required buckle size when you are changing straps. It can even be useful in the measurement of the overall size of the watch itself, if the watch doesn't exceed 50mm. The seller provided excellent communication and super-quick, safe delivery. I highly recommend this tool, and, Barton!

3 year review. The tool itself is good quality but the 2 two tips do not hold up. Going thru a tip almost each time using it.

Really works!
Lately have purchased several watches that were on great sales, but which I thought were not done with good choices between the watch and the band. They also featured quick release bands. So I am buying different bands. But you have to move tiny little slides to change out and replace bands. This tool allows you to do this easily without breaking nails and swearing, etc. it works well!! Love it! It’s gonna stay around in our tool drawer.

Good quality, well made, works well. A big step up from the cheap spring bar tools we see a lot online. I used mine the minute it arrived to change straps on a few of my watches without any issues. The barrel size & shape is good for a positive grip and makes it easier to find the right angle to apply the tool to the spring bar. Overall, very pleased, good tool for the money.

This is a simple little tool, but feels really good, built well and has extra heads for different pins. Worth the money if you ever want to change straps or need to work on watches. Super easy to use/change the heads.

Well priced and well made, but I think you should consider your needs carefully before ordering. The issue is the tips are not very fine, and are only suitable for watches with normal tolerances. I used it to change the strap on a watch with tight tolerances and it made me very nervous. If you have a higher end collection, and like to swap straps often, spring for a high end tool. However if you have a more casual collection with easy to access springbars, this is a nice tool. Extra note: find quick release springbar equipped straps whenever possible, they are an absolute pleasure and allow you to save these sorts of tools for maintenance and occasional swaps of permanent straps.

The product itself is ok, works as intended. It does have a slight rattle which makes me question the longevity of this item but so far it's fine.

Bought this just in case the included tools for my Samsung Gear S2 band were cheap / flimsy. Lucky I did. Really saved me having to wait or go out and get it resized at a store. I also successfully installed the extra bit from this into the cheap tool that came with my watch band and now it works great too.
