It did it’s job but...
So when I first saw this product I thought it was a really cool and convenient kit. It has everything you need. When I tried it all seemed well. My fresh tattoos were healing beautifully! Then a couple of days in something peculiar started to happen. In the areas around my tattoos and on the tattoos themselves I started to break out into really bad rashes. They hurt more than the tattoos did. I consulted the artists who did my tattoos and they said that the based off of the pictures I sent them it looked like I had an allergic reaction to whatever I was using (the Tattoo Goo). The only time they ever saw reactions like that were when people used Aquaphor. Therefor, IF YOU HAVE TRIED AQUAPHOR AND HAVE GOTTEN BAD ALLERGIC REACTIONS FROM IT THEN THIS PRODUCT IS NOT FOR YOU!!!!! Overall I can’t really complain about the kit not doing its job. My tats healed quickly and smoothly. I only just wish that it didn’t come with month+ long nasty rashes.

Perfect little kit
This stuff is amazing. A co-worker told me about it when I mentioned that I was getting a new tattoo and was not looking forward to the smell of A&D ointment. I did a little research on the salve and then I found this perfect little kit. It comes with everything you need. So far I have used the cleansing soap and the salve. The smell is very light but pleasant. The salve is light, not goopy and not greasy. I just rubbed the little bit left on my finger into my hand and it was gone. My husband and I were both getting tattoos so we really should have ordered 2 kits. The kit is small, but it is perfect for single person use. He was able to pick one up at one of our local retailers for a few bucks more than what I paid on Amazon. I felt even better about my purchase when I saw that they carry Tattoo Goo at the shop we went to. I will be ordering this kit again for my next tattoo.

Perfect regimen for my first tattoo
This was a great value. I just got my first tattoo so I needed some products for the healing process. I have sensitive skin and this was gentle. I used the soap after I took bandage off, several times a day. I did not use the salve because I did not like it. (I used aquaphor instead) When it started peeling, the lotion was perfect. I will use the SPF lotion in the summer time. Overall, this is a great kit for your tattoo and the price was good. Would have cost much more if I got everything separate.

The lotion is great initially. After that, stick to the goo.
I'm going to rate each product in the box individually, so hopefully that will help potential buyers.1. Healing lotion - This lotion is great, as it's not too thick or thin. In my experience, once the first layer of skin began to crack and peel, the lotion did little to keep it hydrated for more than an hour. I give it 3 out of 5.2. Cleanser - I really like this stuff. It's effective at cleaning and loosening up skin that's ready to come off as your tattoo heals . 5 out of 5.3. Tattoo Goo - It's oily, it's messy, but it really does go on smooth with minimal effort. It seems to keep my skin hydrated far longer after applying than the lotion does. 4 out of 5.4. Renewing lotion - I haven't used it, and probably won't. Is a gimmick; tattoos can't become more vibrant with the use of lotion if they're already faded. No rating.

I'M OBSESSED WITH THIS SMELL. Great gift for a newbie!
When my ex got tattooed, he was given this tattoo goo tin and it smelled AWESOME. It's like a clean slightly minty smell I'm obsessed with. So I've bought it for each one of my tattoos since. So when I took my Fiancee to get his first tattoo, I knew I had to get this kit! The Tattoo Goo is my favorite, it's a small tin of green stuff, smells AWESOME, it feels like an ointment that kinda heats up as you swirl your fingers across it (wash your hands first!!). APPLY A VERY LITTLE AMOUNT - it warns you that too much will make your tattoo mushy and won't allow it to breathe and heal! Very important! The soap is nice to have an anti-microbal soap and not have to go out and buy dial soap. I with the bottle was a pump for sanitary reasons, but just wash your hands before you drop a bit into your hand. Try not to "touch" and contaminate the stuff in the bottle. Takes a bit of rubbing your hands together to get it to lather. The lotion is nice, it's easier to spread and I find it nice to switch too once your tattoo gets a bit peely. The goo will kinda take some flakes off because it's a bit grippy, but this is easier to spread over the surface. I apply it to the whole area in a very thin amount - including the regular skin around the tattoo. I also put it on my old tattoos whenever I do this, Idk if it' makes it brighter, but hydrating your skin is never bad right?I haven't tried the SPF, but it is important to use SPF all over your body - and on your tattoos. The Sun fades stuff a lot. This is a nice kit for anyone with a new tattoo! I almost wish there was a half size kit though, since you should apply sparingly, my tattoo (full calf size) healed a long time ago, way before I even got 1/4 through any of the products. I doubt it would be sanitary to hold onto it till my next tattoo.

Perfect for a first tattoo!
By far my favorite items in this were the small salve tin and the tattoo wash! I just got my first tattoo not too long ago and bought this kit hoping it would work for all my basic care and it did! The lotion is okay, but I myself just prefer the salve. The bottles are tiny but for 13 dollars and my small ass tattoo they worked just fine 😂 the salve has been staying next to my bed and I put it on right before falling asleep and I love it more than my aquaphor. It also has a distinct but not unpleasant smell that will forever remind me of tattoos. And when I got it my box was a bit beat up but that’s honestly because of the way it was shipped not because it was used like some people were thinking. Definitely buying the salve again!! Also not sponsored but tattoo goo feel free to hmu with some pr 😂😂

Three Stars
Not crazy about the Renew...it flakes a lot. Other than that it's greatEdit: taking this down to 1 star. I tried the salve on a second tattoo and even with minimum application it leeches the ink a lot. Go for aquaphor instead
