Amazing!
To say that I am the testimony of a person who at first did not believe in this at all, I could not believe that only with plant powder you could clean your hair, much less that it could look so good. I have been using these products for more than six months and I have seen a surprising change in my hair, it falls out much less, it shines a lot, after rinsing it is extremely soft, and all this was really unexpected for me because as I I said before I did not believe that a powder could clean your hair, much less leave it that way. I Didn't Buy It For Better Hair Or For Good Flavor
First up...It is on the bitter side. I mix approx 1 tsp in about 8 oz of hot water about every other day. If a bit of unfiltered raw honey is added, it takes the bitter edge off and it's not that bad. Still not a desert. I bought this for only 1 reason - health benefits. The info I copied and pasted below is from "Nutrition Facts dot com" and is why Amla has been added to my diet. I've purchased other products from Jiva and ALL have been top notch quality.Amla, also known as Indian gooseberry, is one of the most antioxidant-rich foods on Earth. Though unfamiliar to many, particularly in Western countries, it is commonly used in Ayurvedic herbal preparations and the subject of hundreds of articles in the medical literature, including papers with hyperbolic titles like “Amla…a Wonder Berry in the Treatment and Prevention of Cancer.”In vitro studies have shown that amla may have anticancer properties and not only appear able to block cancer cell growth, but also cancer cell invasion. Good pure product
I don't ingest this product so rated the flavor high for benefit of the doubt. I use amla powder topically for beauty purposes. I always get mine directly from India but covid has shut down that avenue so I researched and researched and decided this was the best one. I didn't realize any amla was grown here in the US but this is USDA amla. Oh well I was wrong and I know amla and this one is purely legit. Uncut, ground very finely. I love it. And the value is great.

Although this is my first time purchasing Amla powder, from all of the research that I've done (descriptions of visual appearance and taste), I KNOW that this is actual Amla powder.

Super sour! Maybe just a pinch at a time. Not sure in that quantity you are getting enough if vita C value quality. I ve been adding to smoothies and teas so far, tolerable.
