This is a good light for a lathe
The magnetic base holds strong. It will take a 100 watt equiv. LED light. You can aim it where you need it. Just what I was looking for for the bed of my lathe. One thing, the light will only work on a steel or iron surface. It will not sit up by itself without the magnet.

With all of the flimsy junk coming out of China these days it's nice to see a well made product.

Great product but doesn't include the magnet shown in the picture
Moffatt task lamps are made very well, the quality is great, second to none. The reason for the low rating is the lamp I receive did not include the magnet as shown in the product pictures and described in the product info. I'm unclear if the product information is incorrect or the one I received had parts missing.If the magnet was included as shown / described I'd give this five stars.

Great product. Magnet very strong, but in order to put the hardware I had to drill it as the magnet was blocking the holes for the base.

Have purchased a total of 3 of these now for use on molding machines. Our crew loves them. Fitted them with 1,750 lumen LED's and they give the staff plenty of lighting to see inside molds when troubleshooting.
