Robin highlights the importance of creating actionable steps and developing realistic strategies that actually work. I gave the book 5 stars because I applied the steps as I read them, put it into action, re-evaluated where I had made mistakes, and since then I have seen massive improvements to how my business is received and sparking further interest. The book felt like a passion project that Robin set out to do, but I wonder if he knows the hope and joy he has inspired with his writing.I’d recommend this book for everyone - especially youngsters who want to get ahead of the game.Take Your Shot is life-defining!

This book is easily one of the easiest to read book and I have completed it within two days. I love the concepts and I can relate it to my own life. I highly recommend this book to anyone thinking of improving their businesses.

The book is short and a quick read/listen. Has very helpful take aways. Like stated in the book, it’s not something you read and poof more income instantly, there is work on your end. It’s a book that can help chart your business growth and success. It can applied to an already existing business or a new start up. Great book, thank you!

Awesome, fun to read book.This book was such an easy pleasant read. The story is 91 pages long you can easily knock this out and learn a thing or two in an afternoon.If you're a service based business owner this book is for you :)

Enjoyed Robin's book very much. What a great way to digest very complex subjects in a simplified manner. It makes building a business and achieving your financial goals seem a lot easier than it probably is, but I guess that's the point... I have to give it a go and be less afraid of the unknown. I feel motivated to try out some of the techniques. I'd like to become an entrepreneur and "take my shot."

This book is awesome, so easy to read and have a lot of great advices on how to improve a business. I really enjoyed it.

It was a novel idea to pose a 'business advice' book as a novel to garner interest.BUT: it did not really work for me.Oh - some of the advice is good, but nearly 50% of the book is setting the scene for the very few hints (good and logical though they may be!).Seemed strange to me that the author had chosen the mindless pursuit of golf as the business to feature, put me off from the start....Could do with more carefull proofreading to correct some grammatical gaffes and some odd punctuation.

I took this book on holiday and had to buy another one as I couldn't put it down and finished it in a day.It was such a pleasant read that it really changed my perspective on my business. There was absolutely no fluff; it was straight to the point.Fantastic, and I would recommend it to anyone wanting to start a business or get more out of their current one.

I’ve read 200 books on entrepreneurship and marketing and this goes into my top 25. The storytelling is really impressive and you can’t put the book down because you just want to know the next lesson. I read this in one go. I wish all books could be this short without all the fluff. It would save me so many hours each time I read a book. 🙌 highly recommend for every entrepreneur or marketer out there.

I really loved this book. For the last two years I have been trying to grow my business consulting business and I feel I am stuck in a loop on how I go about the same. This book has definitely got me thinking in new ways and made me understand the criticality to do so. Incredible in many parts of the book I was thinking " Russ story seems mine". Why because I'm a personal trainer and all the problems citated by Russ are mine too. So Now I'm in the point to quit...but I have a Plan Now ...TAKE MY SHOT.
