Only brand to buy
I have been buying Vaughan hammers for nearly thirty years, and I have only bought four of them. Only one was a replacement, and I am still using the one it replaced as well. People are particular about hammers, like auto manufacturers. I like Vaughan for a reason, I am a big guy, and they fit me well. They are durable, and of excellent quality.I bought this drywall hammer for a particular job, and it will probably be the only one I ever do with it. Building (specifically drywalling) my own house. It did that job well.

Nice little Hatchet
Excellent for demo work and general purpose hacking. Light head for ease of use overhead, and came nice and sharp.

Does The Job!
The Vaughan WB 12 ounce Drywall Tool is one I had been on the waiting list to receive. Since I just now need it for drywalling, the wait was not an inconvenience. It has the same excellent quality as my other Vaughan hammers, namely, the Vaughan 14-Ounce Dalluge Titanium Hammer, Vaughan 19-Ounce California Framer and Vaughan 99 16-Ounce Professional Rip Hammer. I have yet to be disappointed in any of them. Using the right tools for the job makes it a lot easier. ~ The Boss

There is no nail puller on the hammer
Been doing drywall a long time I’ve had this exact hammer for probably about 15 years decided to get a new one and it does not have a nail puller. Very disappointing. Not that it gets used much, but the fact it’s not there really upsets me because there are times that you do use it

The One to Buy!
Although I'm not a full time professional drywaller I have done my share. When we moved I "lost" my old Vaugh. Having yet another project in the works I wanted to use my old faithful and not settle for a cheaper version. Most places sell this model for $30 but Amazon has the best price. Functionally it is the same as my old model but the finish isn't quite as good. I'm sure it will wear in just fine. You will not be disappointed with this tool, good weight and balace.
