No snags
To reviewers who say it is not big enough for voluminous hair, they must really have a mane. I have very voluminous hair and most regular bands don't twist twice over it. This unexpectedly stretches as far as you need it to and there are no hair snags as with elasticated bands. It will also regain its smaller size if you give it a rest which I like, so I rotate between bands.

Everybody has to buy these. Don't ever use normal hairties again. These are so supportive and pain-free. Definitely worth every penny. Go for it!

It ripped in less than a month. Heard so much about it on curly girls groups. It's very expensive if or lasts only for a month!

Better than Walmart
Typically I won’t purchase name brand things but these are worth the extra few dollars. I haven’t had one break on me yet and I’ve been using them for years. Better than a rubber hair tie. Only con is that they do tend to stretch out. Luckily I have found a fix for that: just place in some boiling water and it will shrink right back to normal

Go-to hair ties
Zero crease, doesn't pull your hair, last forever. Always have one on my wrist or in my hair. Due to the grip, compared to regular hair ties, this gives some nice lift in my ponytail in spite of my thin hair

Perfect for Thin Hair
Obviously, no hair tie can completely prevent damage to thin and especially color-treated hair, but this brand and style (the thin black ones) have always proved to protect my hair from breaking a lot and prevent ripping while holding my hair in place. I’ve been using them for years, but I just keep losing them, so I’m glad they had them on Amazon.
