As bright as incandescent lights
I bought LED lights for the first time this past Christmas when I bought LED Christmas lights. I liked that they didn't get hot, saved energy and didn't cost as much to use. So when the bulbs in one of my carriage lights burned out I bought these LED bulbs. I am very pleased with my purchase. They are just as bright as the incandescent bulbs that are in the other light. You can't even tell the difference. I like that the entire bulb is clear and bright and matches the other bulbs I have. Now I can't wait for the other bulbs to burn out so I can replace them! Sure they are more expensive than regular bulbs but they should last a lot longer and don't cost much to use per year. I would definitely buy them again and I am slowly replacing all my regular bulbs with LED bulbs.

Nice and bright
I recently installed these on my front lamp post and the three bulbs give off a nice light. Comment added November 25. Two of the bulbs stopped working. I contacted the manufacturer and can't tell you how satisfied I was with customer service. I needed to give them my original Amazon order number and they immediately sent me three replacement bulbs.

Really 40w equivalent bulbs, but still very good LED bulbs.
I'll get my grievance with these bulbs out of the way first, as it is the only issue I have. They are listed at 60w equivalent, when they are really 40w equivalents. For more explanation of this, see below. Now, on to the positive points. The first thing you notice about these bulbs is they don't look like your typical LED bulbs, in that there is no visible heatsink. In Many LEDs, the bottom half of the bulb is dedicated to a heatsink. This heat dispersion device can block the spread of the light, so the light is more directional rather than universal. These bulbs, on the other hand, lack the normal heatsink, and produce a nice, even light spread of light, similar to incandescent bulbs. The LED elements in these bulbs also have an appearance that is more similar to the filament you see in an incandescent bulb... at least, more similar that other LED bulbs. The long, visible LED filament strips are more unique in appearance and almost have a retro feel to them. From a color and brightness standpoint, they are on par with 40 watt bulbs, as they produce about 350 lumens, and the color seem true to the 2700k color rating. Again, my only gripe is that these are advertised as 60w equivalents, but if that were true, I would expect them to produce at least 500+ lumens. I have other 40w equivalent LED candelabra bulbs that produce the same amount of light as these. All online guides for LED purchase I have referenced state that a 40W equivalent should produce about 450 lumens. That's for a full-size bulb. For candelabra bulbs this will be a little lower, so 350 lumens is about right. I've seen many other 40w equivalents that state 310-350 lumens. 60w equivalent candelabra will usually state 500 lumens.Overall, these seem light nice, low energy candelabra bulbs, and I recommend them, but only as 40w replacements. As far as longevity... we'll just have to wait and see.

Didn't Last, I guess my fault
Bought in September 2023; Dead in March 2024.LED bulbs are supposed to last; these were showing a soft glow; the filaments on all were evenly dead.I was using them in a lamppost with 3 bulbs. They were very bright for 4 months. now all you saw was the filament glowing.Update April 5, 2024: BioLuz Customer Service is excellent, they got back to me right away [email]. They said the lamppost with a dusk-to dawn sensor was the problem, and they are sending out new bulbs to me. I will not use them in my lamppost, but they are very bright and the ceiling fans in our home could be brighter.

Fine, but seem to have a high failure rate
These lights are bright, but yellower than I had expected. They also have a quality that I dislike about many LED lights (but that not all have) - they make shiny things and things that move quickly look a bit weird, almost like there is a trail behind them.UPDATE: I've had the lightbulbs for over a year now. For several months, they worked well. When one burned out after six months, the customer service was very quick to respond and send a new bulb. Now, a year after I installed the bulbs, two more burned out. Again, customer service responded quickly and sent two replacements. However, both of those failed within two weeks. I received another two replacement bulbs. The person with whom I corresponded suggested that I use the bulbs in a different fixture if they continue to fail - however, I only have one fixture that uses this size bulb. Also, the fact that most of the bulbs worked fine for a year would suggest that the fixture is not the problem. Customer service is excellent, but it seems like the bulbs are not.Second UPDATE: Out of a total of 11 bulbs, only four still work. I'm not happy with these at all and will look for a different brand.

So far really good
So I just got these tonight. I didn't necessarily like the price per bulb but hey these are the best I found on Amazon for what I need. .. I got these bulbs to replace some other LED candle porch light I bought about six months ago. I was going to update and give a really bad review for my last bulbs as they burnt out within six months from running them over night. You do the math but I think you'll find that doesnt add up to 10,000 hours. But that was the old bulbs. These new ones are a different company and style, they are round at the tip, without the fancy angled candle tip some have. But I'm willing to give up fancy tips for a bulb that lights well. It says soft white and it matches better to my other yellowish bulb than my previous bulbs that were more bright white. Hard to explain bulb color in the dark but I'll post some pics.As mentioned, I barely got these bulbs, but was super impressed with the color vs my old bulbs. It looks more like a soft porch light than my old. I plan to update at a future time, gotta make sure these babies last. First impression is buy them, good porch light color, I'll warn you if they don't last.

Did not last very long
We bought these a few months ago and though they were great until one by one they all started to flicker and then turn very dull. We bought 6 bulbs and they did not last the full summer. Disappointing. I add photos of how dull they became ... the first photo shows a new bulb ( not bought from the same suppler ) and the faulty bulbs before I swapped them all out.
