Works well for my needs...
Amazon prompted me for a review so here it is...I'm no kind of expert on sealers. I've only used 3 different brand water-based 100% acrylic sealers before trying this sealer. At this point I've been using it (experimenting) for about 2 months now. I'm using it to protect my outdoor cement artwork from weathering, so that is the extent of my experiences. My aim for any of these sealer products is to apply multiple coats to a vertical surface and to bring out the colors and to achieve a very deep wet look while also offering weathering protection (no foot traffic to worry about). Compared to the other brands (which are all 100% acrylic), I find this Urethane/Acrylic sealer to go on as easily (even on vertical surfaces), dry very fast between coats, and give a slick (almost waxy type) 'feel'... the more coats I apply the slicker the feel. Where I find it really differs from the other sealers is... its very clear (doesn't darken colors like the other acrylics I've used) and its highly glossy (more so than the 100% acrylic sealers I've used so far). It does bring out the colors a little but without darkening them... its hard to describe but it appears like the 100% acrylic sealers intensify the color much more because they also darken. For my work, I prefer the darkened colors yet I also want the very high glossy wet-look and durability this sealer seems to give therefore I've settled on applying two base coats of 100% acrylic with 47% solids (another brand) and then topping it with 4-6 coats of this urethane/acrylic sealer. What I end up with are colors that are very intensely deep and look like they are under a layer of water... my works are left with a wonderful slippery feel to them and it seems like it will not ever wear off... Its exactly what I want. Please keep in mind the number of coats I am applying and the effect I'm trying to achieve with my artwork. Because my needs are so specific and not really mainstream for this product, the context of my 5 star rating is solely from the standpoint of my expectations and needs. If you are going to put down a couple coats to protect a patio or walkway my guess is it will give better protection and durability than the 100% acrylic products while also being noticeably glossier and slicker and the colors will be truer and not enhanced.A Helpful Note: When applying more than two coats, each new coat will tend to want to bead up on the surface of the previous coat unless you do a light sanding of the previous coat.

Great product
This product is thin and milky looking and dries to a hard, clear, subtle shine. I am using it on stenciled floors inside my house and it works beautifully. It is easy to apply, is not too shiny, does not have an odor, cleans up well, and does a great job protecting my floors. I highly recommend this product.

Terrible product
Absolutely no shine after two coats. Looks exactly like it did before I sealed it.

Great product
Works well and fast... is not a hard surface but a protective surface. Like a film screen protector on a phone instead of a epoxy coat. Put it over newly painted surface w/beautiful outcome. Needs at least 4 coats but it was dry to walk within an hour after each coat. A little goes a long way. I found rollers to work better than garden sprayer. Puddle spots will turn yellowish clear if there is a deep section you go over and let it pool.

Best sealer for painted statues I could find
Goes on thin, I use a brush on my painted statues all concrete.. on a vertical surface, it drys in about an hour outside and becomes rain proof in a couple hours..on a horizontal surface. It would need more time.I put a new coating on every year, keeps me from having a repaint the statues often, great product…

No gloss
This has no gloss value at all. It says "high gloss" but there is no gloss factor even after several coats. Aside from that it is a decent product with no yellowing or bad smell. Overall not bad.

Easy to use
This product was so easy to use and it looks great! I didn’t notice any streaks or anything because I was concerned since it was a spray and walk away item that it would streak but it has a very smooth finish. I’ve used this on several things so a couple of things I learnef…… if you are applying to items where the spray could pool I did use a dry paint brush to lightly spread out the product. Also, I sprayed this on my wood shutters without taking them off the wall and it splashed a little on my windows which zi should have wiped off better but since I didn’t I ended up having to use a razor blade to scrape the dried clear coat off my windows. Other than those two things the product is very easy to use. It’s a lot better than having to brush it on everything that you use it on.

The product definitely performs exactly as advertised.
There is nothing about this sealant that I dislike!! This is a great product. Easy to apply and dries in about 1-1/2 hours! I put it on my basement floor and it looks fantastic!! It really goes a long way too! I couldn’t recommend a sealant more! I have used to different sealants on my concrete porches and BOTH were very disappointing!! Wish I had found Rain Guard first!!
