Great light for the money , easy installation
Put this up at a local church. I waited to write the review to see if it was junk or not. This thing works great. It is so bright but it shines the light down where it's needed not all over the neighboring houses . Excellent purchase

Great light!
This is a great light! I used it to replace an old sodium light for my drive way after my neighbors started to complain about ut. The old light broadcast light everywhere and into thier windows at night. After receiving this light and removing to Old one this took less than 10 minutes to install. It broadcasts the light down and quite far, think the instructions said about 120 feet to the sides if the light is 25 feet off the ground. I ha e a large drive way and this turned out better than i expected and it seems brighter than the old light as well. Very happy with the purchase and the price was right.

Works like advertised. The best part is that itdo
Works like advertised . The best part is that it does not bother the neighbors it's perfect for the corner of my garage next to my neighbors fence. It's a little brighter than the 42w CFL that I replaced it with and it's perfect Kalven (cool white) for out side, it lights up driveway nicely.I definitely would recommend this security light. *( It is now 6 mouths later )*It has been working flawlessly, I'm so glad that I bought this one and I'm hoping that it will last a long time.

What I expected..
I put this on the second story of my house. It puts out a great amount of light and has good coverage. It "seems" to be cheaply constructed but that may be because it's using some super dopper plastic. Time will tell.Update 2/26/23As I was concerned it turned out to be junk. Replaced the first one right at two years now, after another two years, the second one needs to be replaced. And as I had put the light up by the second story, replacing it is no easy task.It has a 5 year warranty, IF you ship it back to Lights of America. Shipping cost makes it not worth returnng. The worse thing is, this is the only one of its type (that I've found) that will attach to a round junction box which I had to use when I initially installed it. As you can imagine I won't be dumb enough to put up another one.I broke down and returned this piece of garbage to Lights of America as instructed in the warranty. It's been two months now and I haven't received a replacement or refund. I see now that these are no longer for sale. Small wonder. What a waste of money.

Perfect fit, easy install.
Needs to be hardwired by electrician. Bought and installed December 2016 it's working great. Bright light , has dusk to dawn sensor ! I'm buying another one for back of my garage facing alley! I'm no electrician but i do have some electrical understanding. Will post pics later

A great light with one fault that you should pay attention to
Lightweight and easy to install. Mine lasted 5 years - but got infested with bugs inside. Not sure if that shortened its life or not. There is about a 1/4 inch gap at the back of the light cover where it connects underneath. Spiders and little moths and all kinds of insects crawl in there, drawn to the light. If you get this lamp, you will see what I am talking about - put something on that gap to block it, to keep the bugs out. Mine became so full of bugs that the lamp was disgusting. Even so mine worked every night for 5 years - not bad. Its very bright, dawn-to-dusk sensor worked great, and it held up to all kinds of weather. I got exactly the same light to replace the first one, this time I sealed up the gap.

Works good
Very bright and has been working great for the last few months. It is a more directional light than say the round led street light types but it does great for where I have it. I have this and one of those round ones about 20ft away going and between the two, I can run my security cameras at night in color mode instead of IR. Well worth the price!

The brightness of the light is great. The light aims straight down from where you place it, so if you don't want the light to spread very far it works great. If you are looking for something that is going to light your yard or driveway this isn't the best option. It works well for the side of the building we put it on, lighting the parking spots under it. HOWEVER the light is made very cheaply. I am very disappointed in the quality of the light. I am worried that it isn't going to make it thought the winter before the plastic breaks. There are no screws to hold the light fixture to the base (we used tape to make sure it would stay together). The design makes it easy to put up, I just hope it stays up.
