Above and Beyond
Works SUPER!!! Amazing price. Be gentle especially with Plugs the insert! Not Super Durable and keep protected and clean for multiple years of dependability!! My last one has made through 3 years of weekly 3 night shoots! VERY Smooth and Works great with Variable Speeds of camera!!

Can’t beat it for the price, quality control could be a bit better though.
This is definitely not a product that could hold up to the rigors of every day use, but if you’re somebody who is looking for a very affordable option and intend to use it on occasion like I am, it works and it works exactly as intended. I was specifically using this on my Sony FX6.Unfortunately the port one on the side, was not allowing the commands to be sent to the camera and there was also a slight rattling within the housing that piqued my curiosity so I decided to open up the housing and see what was going on.As you can see in the photograph the port was not soldered to the board completely and that’s the reason why the port on the side was not working properly. As far as the rattle, the button pressed to record sits a little bit loose and as a result it jiggles just a little bit which was causing the sound that I heard.I’m gonna send this one back and order a new one, because, with the exception of the left port which I would’ve fixed myself if I had a soldering iron, not working, it functions exactly as intended. For the cost and the fact that I don’t intend to use it every day, it’s a great deal.

Broken after 1 use
I bought 2 of these to set up on different tripods. The first one was dead on arrival and never worked. Could hear pieces rattling inside. Returned for a refund. Kept the second one as it worked when I tried it. Next time I went to use it, completely dead. Same rattling inside. Maybe got 30 minutes of use out of it. These things are worthless. Would not recommend.

Best buy on a budget.
I'm not going to kid you, these devices work great but under heavy use they will break. Mostly they break where the cable connects to the body and inside on the circuit board. But, under light use they will last for years. I have used them for years and found that the price point is so low you can afford to keep spares on the shelf. We do a lot of live shows and they never fail during a show, but sometimes during set up. My camera operators like that they don't have a bunch of buttons on them and they operate just like the expensive ones on the studio cameras.

Works Perfectly
A good budget remote easy to install and use on any camera with LANC.

Works, but the tightener has issues
The zoom is very smooth, and the device functions as well. The one issue is that the tightening nob is pressure mounted rather than fixed or screwed in. So, as you tighten it the clamp it can actually wind itself right off. The end result is that you can might it securely, but not quite tightly.

Works great with Panasonic GH5
I was looking for a remote for zoom control on my Panasonic GH5 with power zoom lenses. This one works just fine, used it for a bunch of hockey games. The biggest downside for me was the 90 degree connector - it is very hard to get a good connection with it because of my camera cage. I have to get it into the perfect position. Also wish it came with more detail on how to set the switch.. just had to play with it.Once you get it figured out it works great, and can't really beat the price!
