Fit my ancient Leisure Bay / Magnatech pump
I searched locally for this "buttress thread" fitting and could not find them anywhere. Seems my Leisure Bay / Magnatech pump is way too old. But I found this fitting and it worked perfectly!

Third attempt to review this item. Please view picture. It is not a 2 inch union as described. Bought three all three returned.

Does not fit Sta-Rite Max E Pro pump
It does not fit Sta-Rite Max E Pro pump inlet. The size is a bit smaller so it can not be threaded in. The part with the gasket is also smaller. I had to use it since I already cut my old one. I used my old threaded part along with the new gasket part, but since the it is smaller, it is very finicky and leak with the slightest misalignment.

had to rework the plumbing on my pond - this fit the Waterway skimmer - let me isolate the skimmer/pump combo form the rest of the plumbing.

It fit perfectly to my Solaxx UV Ozone unit. Used a little bit of silicone grease for sealing and tightened up with little effort and no leaks.
