I love this tape measure. I was able to take measurements up to 12’ as I measured, cut, and installed 13 i-joists to create a second floorfor anew bedroom. This usually requires two people on step ladders to hold the tapemeasure and even then you get tape sag. Not with this device. All measurements had to be within 1/16” accuracy and they were. This enabled me to complete the job by myself. Pretty amazing and each recharge takes about 15 minutes and last for weeks. For short easy measurements, I use the tape. I love it. You will too.

Assuming this tool performs consistently, it's likely to be a game changer.I paid my way through high school and college working construction, primarily doing carpentry. Most hand-held tapes were accurate to no more than 1/8" because of play at the riveted tape end, so on anything but rough framing or form work I preferred a folding tape with a sliding end piece. So when I bought this, I was amazed to find it is accurate to 1/32". It will give very repeatable results to 1/64", but since I can't cut that accurately I consider that degree of precision to be suspect.For the type of projects I work on this is more than precise enough, and more importantly it's repeatable over hours, minutes, days, and months. As an example, I did a 'rear seat delete' on my Mustang convertible, and used this rule to measure the interior dimension between the left and right bulkheads at the top of the seat bench. I put a piece of electrical tape on each side where I measured, and a couple of months later checked the measurement; it was identical to the 64th of an inch.Repeatability is as important when building something as it is when zeroing in a rifle, and this unit is something to count on.An added bonus is the rechargeable battery. After weeks of use, I got a low battery indication. Expecting to deal with sourcing some rare button cell or camera type battery, I was happy to find it uses a USB C connection to charge.

My husband LOVES this thing! I purchased it for him for Christmas and he has used it everyday while finishing our basement. The display quality is so great! It is super bright and very accurate. His only complaint has been the battery life. I would think its probably better for smaller jobs and not one as big as finishing an entire basement.

A good tape for making cost estimates for job bids. The laser system can quickly scan room sizes, instead of stretching the tape corner-to-corner. It charges via USB. It is thicker than my other tapes so it does not fit in the measuring tape holder of my leather carpenter's apron.

it's a very good tape measure; Rechargeable battery, normal size, I liked it ,very easy to use. The only downside I saw was that the laser doesn't work very well in brightly lit places.

I'm an architect, so I use my measuring tape both indoors and outdoors frequently. In my work, accuracy is most important; however, the laser is not usable in the sunlight. Also, it offers no assistance in aiming the laser. To measure the distance over 30' is a challenge because I can not aim the laser easily. I was hoping they would include a built-in level of some sort to enhance the usability.

Saves me a lot of time from incorrect measurements when my husband is not home. He loves it too because it helped improve measurement accuracy. This is a must-have tool if you do a lot of measuring for a job or at home.
