It work, good not great.
I bought this so I could have a collapsible rocket stove. It is heavy steel every bit of 16 lbs. Assembly is intuitive, but the instructions were covered by shipping labels (yes, more than one). I burned it for about two hours and could not get a wok with 3 quarts of water to boil. The wind was blowing at 11mph gusting to 20mph. I set up wind breaks after an hour and it worked better. The coal hopper was getting full after 1.5 hours almost to prevent more wood from being inserted. The self feeding claim is total BS. Like any fire constant vigilance is required and pushing the sticks into the burn area. The cloth bag included is a joke. A waste of resource. All it will do it keep the dust off and prevent you from seeing the inevitable rust. The Good: impressive compact design, it does work as a wood gasifier stove, most paint held up after first burn, cuts are precise, holds impressively large pot,The Not So: burrs left in, instructions covered, burn chamber not really large enough, hard to get coals out while burning, easily affected by wind, paint scratches easily, not insulatedTo be a really good rocket stove it needs insulation (which is bulky, expensive, and heavy), easy to get fuel in, and easy to get excess coals out. This stove needs substantial wind breaks for moderate wind. This is almost a rocket stove. It works, but its design sacrificed efficiency for compactness. I'm not disappointed as it does work. But, it is not a rocket stove.

Great design and value!!
I have been shopping for a similar stove through my local online marketplace. Every stove I liked was no less than $150. I was a little bit hesitant to purchase this one since it was such a low price. After opening the package I was 100% pleased with everything about it. It was well made, well packaged, and is made of some heavy metal. I was expecting something much lighter. I did not want something light weight. The fact that it came with a carrying bag and everything fits into the main pipe is just amazing. I can’t wait to turn this thing on.I plan to fire this thing up tomorrow so maybe I can do an update soon. I did want to point out my satisfaction based on the design alone. Great design. Extremely fair price.

Great little rocket stove!
Thick walled steel that feels robust, easy to clean, then carry in its own pouch when cool. Provides great warmth within 3 ft, or chairs of friends on the porch. Lights easy from the back and under vents. Cooks evenly with cast iron and burns with just twigs and small cut-offs from the wood shop. I love it!

Wanted to order a few for holiday gifts. No longer!!
The steel is thick strong and welds are smooth as glass. Nicer than I thought it would be. Easy to assemble and carry. Get one !!081021— price went from $80 to $120 since June. Won’t be buying the stoves I wanted to give as gifts these coming holidays.

Item Arrived With Silicone Paint Already Scraped Off In Many Places
This rocket stove is definitely "heavy duty". I'm expecting that the reason it's painted with silicone, which can supposedly handle up to 1700 degrees of heat, is to protect it from corrosion, but the paint is thin and already has many abraded areas right out of the box.

Very heavy duty
This product seems to be a quality product and much more heavy duty than I expected which is a pleasant surprise. I would highly recommend.

Works good, but started to rust shortly after a few days.
I bought this for small car camping trips and used it about 3 times now. It is super easy to setup and can get hot very quick. Because of it's small size you will need to constantly feed it twigs and small kindling sized pieces of wood to keep it hot though as it goes out fairly quick.I doused my first fire out with water to get the temperature down so we could put it away and later found that small traces of rust had started to form. This isn't terrible, and should be a easy fix now, but it might be something to avoid doing if need to cool it down rapidly. The heat resistant paint can also be scratched off so be careful not to scratch it when you assemble the parts together. Is this good for backpacking? No unless you want to carry the extra weight. However for vehicle based camping this is a nice little stove. However it is great for vehicle based outings where you need a small portable fire place.
