These nippers are definitely worth buying. They provide an excellent cut from the runners. They are very easy to use, and the addition of the extra spring, Allen key and blade cover make this an excellent deal! I highly recommend these as a cheaper alternative to the dspiae 3.0 or godhand nippers.

TLDR; They're great. At $12 it's a no-brainer.After six months of use, as my "second cut" nippers, I can say they make very clean cuts and the blades are still sharp. They're much sturdier than the $35 Tamiya clippers I got for Christmas that broke after a month of very light duty. I paid $12 and I really can't imagine the pricier nippers cutting any cleaner than these. In a hobby with a lot of overpriced, "premium" tools available, it was nice to have found a premium tool at a very reasonable price. If I had to list a con, it would be that the pleather cover for the pointy bits is really cheap, and flimsy, but it doesn't affect the nippers in any way.Definitely Recommended.

These things are good for the price point, but are still more expensive than I would like. Honestly, my biggest gripe is that they are noisy out of the packaging. The spring has a lot of creakiness in my pair, and you could hear the spring every time it actuates. Not a big deal, and I was able to fix with a little lubricant. Now mostly quiet. They are not the sturdiest things in the world, and I reserve their use to small cuts where a clean cut off the sprue actually saves me time during model cleanup. I have accidentally applied too much pressure and experience a little 'slip' when the cutting blade goes under the stop blade - my fault but easy to apply too much pressure. They still get a great flush cut depending on the cutting angle you are able to get.

Clean, sharp cut. Be careful with the cut.

Sharp nose, great edge. Cuts much closer than other sets and model pieces require much less trimming after being cut off the sprues.
