Great product. Solid as a tank and smooth function. Second faucet we’ve purchased by these guys. Wouldn’t go back to a cheap delta if you paid me. The little hex screw fell out or something, and looking for a replacement to tighten it back up. Probably installation not done right. Plumber long gone. Wish I knew the size/type to replace it

An elegant shower set from hansgrohe, this is all you need to install the plumbing for a basic bathroom shower. hansgrohe (sic, no capitalization of the '"h") is a German designer and manufacturer of kitchen and bathroom fixtures. hansgrohe design and manufacture are at the top end of the fixture quality spectrum. hansgrohe was recently purchased by the American building products conglomerate, Masco Corporation, joining a stable of Masco-owned fixture manufacturers that includes Peerless, Delta and Brizo. Warranty on hansgrohe is for the lifetime of the original owner, and hansgrohe's customer service is on a par with Delta's excellent customer service.This is a beautiful shower set. The finish of the visible fixtures--the trim set and shower head--is bright as a mirror. The handle, escutcheon, cartridge cover and shower head are metal. The spray nozzles are easily-cleaned silicone. Three spray patterns can be chosen between by the turn of the head. Spray patterns are full, pulsating and intense turbo, with all three simulating spray patterns available from a rainshower head.This set is all you need to install the plumbing for a regular shower. It would work well for a bathtub/shower combo placement where there is a diverter on the spigot that fills the tub. This not what you want to purchase if you're looking to install a fancy, rainshower-type dedicated shower. hansgrohe does sell other sets (much more expensive) for fancier shower setups, including rainshower heads. This is for a simpler, more utilitarian shower.The set includes:1) Rough-in box: underlying plumbing necessary to install in wall2) Trim set, including all necessary hardware to control valve and ceramic cartridge valve that installs on rough-in box3) Shower arm that comes out of the wall from the elbow at the top of the shower riser pipe to which the shower head attaches4) Three-spray pattern shower headThis is a great shower set from a top-quality manufacturer. If you're looking for many years of service with great looks and manufacturing quality, this is a set you should consider. And it's a real value at the price.

I had this set installed when I renovated my guest bathroom recently. It’s a beautiful set. The on/off handle and the tub spout need to be wiped down after use or you will get spots. Not a huge big deal to do that. The only issue I have with this shower head is the water restrictor. It is not one of the ones that can be easily removed. My friend’s son took a shower in there first and when I asked about the water pressure he said it was good. I then took a shower and it was terrible. I have great water pressure but this felt like half the pressure compared to the shower head I had previously. As a result I set out to find a solution to the water restrictor. Based on a review somewhere else I was able to find a YouTube video showing how to remove it. Essentially you just need to break the hard white plastic piece and shake it out of the shower head. I’ve voided the Hansgrohe warranty on it by doing this but the water pressure is amazing now and in the end that’s what matters. And yes my plumber installed the handle upside down but it actually matches the cold to hot markings on the face plate this way. Highly recommend this set!

At the time I write this, this combination costs about $45 less than buying these separately.Hansgrohe makes by far the best performing faucets and showerheads of the 6 or so brands we have used – notably better than Delta and Price Pfister, IMHO. Other brands have disappointed us by not matching the measurements the manufacturer listed, by failing to function properly after a short period of time, or by having the outer metal layer delaminating. Hansgrohe has done none of this.This shower system set stand out for what it does offer, besides just not having any failings. The Pressure Balance Trim functions smoothly and the Showerhead does too. All three of the Showerhead modes are pleasing and it’s nice to have the variety.But that’s JustMe.
