Christmas Present Quality
This is the 3rd one of these I have purchased. I am giving them as Christmas presents this year. A combination spot and area light with adjustable brightness, hangers, able to be used as a backup battery and having a built in solar charger makes this a good add to a camping kit. Too heavy for the trail but great for car camping, park camping and the cabin.

Excellent emergency light.
The first one we bought was over 10 years ago. Great product for emergency light! Excellent brightness, long lasting battery life. We’ve depended on it many times during power outages during storms and it’s always been dependable!

good back up battery/flashlight.
We have an older version of this flash light and we loved it. It is a good addition to our emergency supplies. The older version is no longer available. This is the replacement. It is slimmer and it works for us but I liked the older version better. We have not used the solar charger yet, but it charges quickly on AC. It is a good back up battery for phones.

Bright Light
Excellent lighting! It brightens up the area for better visibility. The fact that it is rechargeable is a great advantage. Ideal for camping.

I have many Goal Zero 250.. tough light. This one is sexy.. 3.5 hours exactly flood.
I like the new design of the Goal Zero Torch 500. I have 3 very old Goal Zero Torch 250 and they wearing out but have done good service over 7 years. I just bought two (2) new Torch 250 a few days ago. So, I charged both up by USB, (the 500 came with no power, the 250 (both brand new) was 3/4 lights charged up. We'll see if the 500 holds a charge. I ran them side by side and the Torch 500 died (got warm) 3.5 hours on Flood light, exactly as promised. PASS. Testing the New vs 7 year old 250 next. I really LIKE the new design.. smaller, heavy but nice solar, nice "warm" temperature lighting and 3 levels. Buttons could be a bit bigger though. Says "waterproof" but I would not want water to get into the Charging Port. I do own a few shares of stock in the NRG stock.. (they own Goal Zero) so I like the company. Products NOT CHEAP but they are far better than the cheap $22 Mini-Solar lights (i have 10 of them, 7 died (battery, wiring, misc) after 1 year. These do last a long time and use them camping/car repair/when cooking in my back yard at night. Worth the extra price. Sunnyvale, CA. Oct 2020.

High quality
As stated, this is a high very quality light source. The light provided is "warm white", not the harsh blueish light from many other lights of similar price. I like that there is a low light setting. The low light setting allows the lights run time to extend to days on a single charge, while providing usable light. The low light setting. (means longer run times) this is useful on long trips, or in long term outages where there may not be convenient recharge opportunities. The solar panel will recharge, and maintain the light, but it does take time. The lights angular shape makes positioning the solar panel for maximum charge a snap. I have two of these lights, they stay charged on the ambient light from a window. If I could make a change I would add a method to attach a lanyard, but it is excellent as is.

Worst buy ever Shame on your goal zero
I have had many goal zero lights most as gifts They are the worst things ever used The internal battery dies after a few uses I would sue them for fraud if I thought it would work Shame on your goal zero

Update: It’s now been three weeks since I’ve purchased this regrettable product. Still the only way I can charge it is by plugging it into the wall as the solar function just DOES NOT WORK!. I’ve been trying now for almost 2 weeks and It just does not want to charge via solar. The metal body on it will burn the crap out of you if you try and put it out in the sun to charge. It gets dangerously hot so be careful. I hope others that have wasted money on this have had better luck than I have had with it. Definitely a purchase I regret wasting money on. Original review: Got this for emergencies. We have been testing it out. As a torch/light, it’s great. It lasts quite awhile before it drains, more than a day. As a power bank, it’s not too bad. It can charge most devices up almost full. Didn’t fully charge my iPhone 15 Pro Max. But it got it to a good 80%. But the solar charging option, makes it pretty much worthless to us. It’s a solar charging device that you can’t put in the sun? You can’t put it anywhere where it will get direct sunlight because it just won’t work, we’ve had it in Direct sunlight and it just became unbearably hot, tried out of direct sunlight and it just doesn’t charge. We’ve tried this thing out of direct sunlight but in the light for four days now and it is not charged one tiny bit on solar. Then we moved it into direct sunlight and discovered it gets dangerously hot. When we received the power bank it was completely flat which is not a problem, took a couple of hours to charge it up via USB but that’s the only way we can charge it. It will not charge via solar no matter what we try So as a powerbank and a back up Emergency light it’s great, a bit uncomfortable to use as a torch so I would recommend honestly buy something else that you can use as a torch and a power bank because the solar charging function on this for us was Absolutely useless sadly. We had high hopes but it is nowhere near as good as other devices we’ve tried.

ソロキャンプにはもってこいかもしれません。複数人になるともっと強くて広い範囲を照らせるものを作った方がいいと思います。 また、ライト系をこれだけに頼ってると後半でバッテリーが切れてしまいます。
