eSIM not working from 1 of 3 Sellers! Otherwise still best Samsung Flagship with SD Card
I ordered over the past year 3 Phones from this exact same listing (same Color Bronze). The Problem is, that they are sold by independant refurbisher they all claim to be "SM-N986U1" = Factory unlocked Phones US Market. The first one I ordered in June2023 for my Cousin that was travelling and her Note9 broke down. The Phone was sold by "ELECTRONIC DEALS" . Wonderful Phone all is working great. As it was such a wonderful experience I thought I order one for myseld as a Backup in case my original European Note 20 Ultra would break down one day... This came 2 weeks later sold by "WirelessGlobe" again absoluetly amazing Condition and all worked. But when I ordered one this December 2023 again, the phone was sold by "HUMAN TECH". Again looked in perfect excellent condition. BUT I was unable to add an eSIM, regular SIM was no problem (So there was no SIM Lock!). As it turns out after contacting Samsung US - Support and them asking for the IMEI number, the Phone was actually built as a AT&T variant (SM-N986U and not U1) and was SIM-Locked once but now unlocked. Unfortuantely deep down in the system somehow eSIM was still locked and there is nothing that they can do about that, although the Phone About Screen has clearly mentioned the SM-N986U1, it was unusable with a eSim.So be careful when you even get a beatiful phone, and today you don't need eSIM maybe in the future you are travelling and then you find out you can't add eSIM... so test within the Return Window from Amazon if eSIM is working!!! In my case whn scanning QR Code of E-Sim it would just loop back to intital screen in SIM Manger. After upgrading to last Firmware, when clicking add eSIM I would only get the 4 Dots circling forever and nothing would happen. So beware of Sellers probably masking a SM-N986U unlocked AT&T Version as a Factory unlocked U1... Unfortunately NOT THE SAME!!!Attched picture1 shows in the older firmware the Scan eSIM is coming up, but will loop back to attached picture 2. After Firmware Upgrade it loops from the beginning. And in case you're asking if manually add the String, same thing loops back to picture 2.

Phone was not as described or advertised, total disappointment.
Unfortunately I did not have a good experience with this Amazon seller. The phone was not unlocked as the seller claimed in the description. Also the phone was not a refurbished phone.Upon booting the phone it was not fully charged, where it already had an account on the phone. The seller claimed the phone was unlocked, however, the phone booted with t-mobile software and was not factory reset. This prompted me to reach out to Samsung to confirm if the phone was unlocked or not where I was told by the rep after providing the IMEI information that the phone is locked to T-mobile carrier.I next contacted t-mobile and the rep stated that the phone is not eligible to be unlocked, which rendered the phone unusable. This ordeal has been a huge inconvenience due to the fact I spent money on the phone with guarantee it would be unlocked and working. The seller had responsibility to ensure the phone was wiped of all previous user data, as well as ensuring the phone was not restricted to any carrier. If so, I would not be writing my review to warn others.I should not have had to go through so many hoops to confirm the validity of the phone when the phone should have been in the 'unlocked condition' as described on Amazon.I am recommending that AMAZON put in place a system that requires the SELLER to verify that the phone is unlocked by loading IMEI info before we as the CUSTOMER complete the purchase to prevent this from reoccurring.I have reached out to the seller to resolve this issue and have sent the phone back to receive a full refund. This experience has made me question Amazon's standards in regards to electronics where I do not have confidence or faith in purchasing any phone that is claimed to be unlocked from its Amazon sellers. Not until Amazon can guarantee that sellers will be true to their listings. In addition, the seller should be more mindful and considerate of the phones they are selling to people as we are spending real money and trusting that they will send us a phone that works and is truly unlocked with no restrictions as described. Please be aware of the risks you are taking when purchasing a "refurbished" or "renewed" phone from Amazon as you may not recieve the item as it is described on Amazon.

Good ohone
Phone was in brand new condition for being refurbished, was a great phone for the month or so I had it. Had a phone case I ordered off Amazon a knock off otter box and it cracked the back of the phone and left glass shards everywhere. One thing I didn't like about this phone is while ice fishing it'd work just fine but the second I'd get in the car the phone would go crazy and go black and white with lines all over the screen
