Looks funny but - IT WORKS
It works. I was happily surprised. I took a bit of fiddling to get it on just right (no instructions) but once I figured it out everything was fine.

A1 upgrade for sure.
This thing is great! I never knew it existed, but it just blows debris away while you're using your dremel.

Works on DEPSTECH 8V, but vibrates
This blower does work, but the extra mass seems to throw some tools off balance slightly causing vibration. I don't have an actual Dremel handy to say if this happens on the actual Dremel models or which ones, but note that it can be an issue even when the collar fits the threads and such.The other issue I encountered with the DEPSTECH 8V is also probably the "fault" of the DEPSTECH which is that it seems to be harder to get the collet tight compared to the one included with the DEPSTECH. This combined with the vibration can cause bits to start sliding in and out, or fall out, which is bad. So also note that even when the threading and such is the same, if every little other dimension and angle is not exactly right the fit won't be perfect, causing some issues.As others have mentioned, sometimes the blower is just too bulky for what you're trying to do and it gets in the way. So don't throw out your original collet collar because you're not going to always want the blower. But for less than $5 I have to give this one 4 stars.

Its a nice little addition to your chuck, but...
Its well worth the money just to have an additional nut if not anything else. However it is very small and very weak. So don't expect anything major, because that's not this. Im not sure if I even notice it half of the time.I wish they'd make a larger one that was a tool attachment by itself. Something that was large and powerful enough to dust yourself off like an air compressor would.Ahh to dream...

Nifty attachment!
Does as advertised, would purchase again. It is nice not having to stop to blow off the piece I’m working on.

Handy little gadget! A++
There's nothing to dislike about this item! It was very inexpensive, and potentially will extend the life of my rotary tool(s) . It blows the dust and debris away from your project, giving you better visibility, the away from the tool, preventing it from getting inside and fouling up the brushes or other internal parts of the tool. For the record, my rotary tool is not a Dremel, but it was perfectly compatible.
